Some cool stuff in Mantle/Bybit land below :) While the Aave deployment on Mantle dominated discussion of it over the last month, a bunch of other notable building/experimenting/iterating is going on as well... One of the main examples is the focus on building for agents, and attempting to develop relevant infra vis a vis the anticipated rise of agentic commerce... As stated by @emilyRioFreeman in the QT'd thread: "The bet: In ~2 years, more DeFi volume will flow through Agents than through frontends. Protocols that design for Agents now → win the routing layer. Protocols that don’t → become backends nobody remembers." The focus on this area fits well into the bullish $MNT thesis I've shared before... Which is essentially that Mantle and the Mantle/Bybit eco have the ability to build out in all sorts of different directions at once due to their massive treasury and substantial human capital... and therefore essentially 'scatter bets' across the crypto landscape... or 'seed lots of trees'... or whatever metaphor you prefer :) Basically they are building out massive infra in all the various directions crypto will potentially grow, and will therefore be extremely well positioned to benefit from the ascendance of blockchain-based financial rails over the coming years and decades, no matter the exact specific path(s) that evolution takes... But yeah - I own a bunch of $MNT and work with the team in various regards, so am tagging this with the magic gnome sigil as a result :) And I highly recommend reading the thread below and following @emilyRioFreeman! If we’re serious about crypto being primarily for trading and finance, then we should consider offering specialized financial education programs for devs and founders. If you’re gonna build in this space, you need to be extremely financially literate. Basic, advanced and even the design space for onchain financial products and primitives. Being a builder is simply not enough to compete at this stage.
