@KassandraSanch Yeah, but now you have 12 hours of learning. 💪 Seriously. Failing is not a waste of time… even if the roads are dead ends, you learn how to go down them, what’s down there, and when (and when not) to do that. I promise, that 3 minutes is because he spent 12 hours another time.

@Beavs Poor bb doesn’t understand, just thinks magic comes from the end of anyone’s pen. You gave her a high bar :)

Cerny Games turns 25 today. Never thought it would last so long, or to take me to such interesting places -- 22 games across all five PlayStations, including a few I (somehow) had a hand in designing Thank you @insomniacgames @Naughty_dog and @PlayStation for the good times!

I've tried to read the captcha with Bing, and it is possible after some prompt-visual engineering (visual-prompting, huh?) In the second screenshot, Bing is quoting the captcha 🌚

@bmcnett Even if I were TRYING to shut down all speed running bugs as a dev, and I got this one reported, I’d be like “nah, let them have it”

Speedrunning feels too intimate, I don't want to know this much detail about the physics bugs in any game.. unless I intended to fix them tiktok.com/t/ZT86HLVPK/

I’m feeling this energy from all our backlash and how little Unity has actually responded.

They handymen who replaced the door during the renovations for this apartment managed to have configured it in such a way that, if you engage auto-lock, the door cannot be opened from the inside even if you possess the key.

@d_feldman Feels a bit like the skeleton crew that’s left fulfilling a directive by patching in some JS-side content filtering because that’s all they know how to do.

This actually happened to Evernote. They took the advice of “keep talking to your customers and ship whatever they want” as the only guiding principle for product development. And what ended up happening was paying users liked it, but the product become unintuitive and feature overload for the new user. To the extent that they had to rebuild a version for the new user. Users don’t always know if they really want something. It’s your job to take the extra step to think on their behalf: whether they really need this. Or can what they ask be done through something much simpler. Or can you solve multiple problems of different users with one new redesign rather than a bunch of changes. The right principle is: “Keep talking and listening to your users, spend the additional time thinking on their behalf what they actually want, and ship that”.

@vaccaro3d @GameOverGreggy Hahaha, I know that feeling. :) Seems like the Pulse elite uses the same PSLink protocol, also supported by Portal. Better sound, some noise canceling, adds a mic stick, simplifies buttons (mute is on the mic itself now), and does simultaneous pairing of PSLink + BT.

@drewthaler @GameOverGreggy I've had the USB stick to my PS5 headphones in the back of my PS5 for so long I literally forgot that existed and assumed they were Bluetooth headphones 😅 whoops. But I'm guessing the new ones they are selling a slightly different/better audio?

How does the PlayStation Portal not have Bluetooth for headphones? Like that seems like a must have in a product like this. I know remote play is by in large very niche but I love the idea of being able to still game while someone else uses the TV or from my bed. Weird no BT :/

@vaccaro3d The new Pulse headset + earbuds use a custom low-latency protocol … AND the killer feature @GameOverGreggy mentioned is that they also support multiple seamless pairing. You can be paired to PS5, Portal, and your phone all at the same time. Even have audio mixed.
