VeVe, the company that was not supposed to make it. In the early years, VeVe encountered so many challenges that would break most companies. 1) Being on a dead blockchain 2) Having to pay Google/Apple 30% for all Gem purchases 3) Many functions on the backend were not automated & had to be done manually 4) NFT boom caused massive demand that no company could have predicted. Had to act fast & grow infrastructure to meet demands 5) Popularity of the platform attracted massive bots 6) Unclear crypto regulation from governments 7) KYC/AML regulations 8) Gem Gate 9) Unstable economy due to the War in Ukraine. One of VeVe's contracted studios was also based in Ukraine. 10) NFT bubble burst & financial interest shifted towards AI platforms 11) MB Techlogy Ltd VS Orbis Blockchain Technologies Ltd. 12) Logan Paul & Godenzi OMI pump/dump 13) More participants in the licensed Digital Collectibles space. DC Comics, Recur, HRO, etc... Despite all of these challenges, VeVe still managed to stay on top. David Yu is smart when it comes to managing funds. That alone helped VeVe survive the crypto bear market. David is a collector himself, so he understands the collector mindset. VeVe is a robust & complicated machine moving in a new space. Things may be slow at times, but VeVe continues to deliver year after year. As David has stated, having passion alone is sometimes not enough. You've got to have discipline as well to push through daily. We have all seen the VeVe co-founders as well as the VeVe Team work even when they are not feeling well. Not just physical health, but emotional/psychological health as well. It takes a special kind of breed to work at VeVe. Many sacrifices have been made because they believe in the company & the VeVe community. Much love & respect to the VeVe Team & our community. We have been there for one another through thick & thin. Made many connections as well as lost amazing people along the way. Their memories will not be forgotten. What is the common bond in all of this? It is the spirit of fandom. Fandom is what most of us grew up with & is still in our lives today. It is what connects people from around the world, regardless of race, political beliefs, social/economic status, age, etc... The brands & IPs on VeVe have real-world value. They are not based on hype, trying to create value from nothing. These IPs have a proven history of value. These brands are decades, if not a century old. They have stood the test of time & are still standing after World War 1/2, the Great Depression, & the 2008 Financial Crisis. VeVe is their digital market of choice. In a way, VeVe is like the Hulk. No matter what you throw at it, it will only get stronger. Things are going to be phenomenal in 2026 now that we have Collect Chain and StackR. Looking forward to all of the great things to come! Long live VeVe!!!💪💙
