Hi there, really sorry to hear that. If you have a disability and need assistance please book assistance in advance. This ensures that a staff member will always be waiting for you to help at each station. Without assistance we cannot guarantee a staff member will be available to help as they may be helping other people.
You can book assistance by:
- Calling our assisted travel team on 0800 197 1329. You can also book tickets alongside your assistance booking
- Using our online form at railhelp.co.uk/gwr/passenger-…
- Using the Passenger Assistance by Transreport smartphone app
- Dialling text relay free on 18001 0800 197 1329
Hope this helps - John

@GWRHelp The other one just told me to get here earlier. Doesn’t really matter what time I get here if your facilities are so poor. What about long term disabled folk. How early do they have to get there so that your staff are helpful and supportive and your lifts work.

@drmatt_ives @drmatt_ives thank you for providing further information. Due to cancellation policies, you will not be able to amend the booking within 24 hours of your flight time. For more information, you may reach out to customer support on the Escape Lounge website by filling in the 1/2
English

@BristolAirport @Escape_Lounges I am trying to amend or cancel my booking with you. Website and AI ChatGPT says amend via website but the website doesn’t allow this. No phone number for lounge. No one answering airport switchboard. No help/contact function. Please contact me

@BristolAirport Today, flight no EZY2887 12:55. Booked lounge for 5 people for 8am instead of 11am but website has no change or cancelling facility despite saying it does

@drmatt_ives @drmatt_ives thank you for reaching out. Could you please provide more information on your flight details? (Date, time, flight number)

@PlasticsFella Early OM. In soft bone it creates terrible damage. You can go from a normal appearing P3 to almost not being able to see any bone on the X-ray a week later. It’s unbelievable when you witness it. Clearly not common but devastating when it happens.
English

@drmatt_ives yeh interesting - you seen more acute complications? or more osteomyelitis further down the line

A Seymour fracture is an open, displaced distal phalangeal physeal fracture with an associated nail bed injury. This is commonly seen in children.
So what's the best treatment? 🧵

@British_Airways emergency landing in Paris. Now 5 hours left in the crew hours and you can’t get us back to Gatwick today. #unacceptable #pathetic

@RestIsPolitics @RoryStewartUK fantastic Israel Palestine episode. I learnt loads. Eye-wateringly complicated and hard to see a resolution but take @campbellclaret view that you have to keep hope. Loads of armchair experts slating your “bias” etc. I thought it was brilliant!
English

@PlasticsFella I’ve certainly seen it displace some fractures. Maybe it’s choice and how you apply it. Perhaps it’s not just “simple” buddy strapping. But does it really make any sense? We know the fingers are rotated slightly compared adjacent, the joints are at different levels…
English

@drmatt_ives Yeah that’s interesting, will look into that. A few comments below seem to prefer volar (but with MCPJ flexed too). Assuming don’t like buddy strap for stiffening adjacent finger?
English

#FractureFriday
How are you fixing this?
Proximal phalanx, ring finger.
Closed injury.
Lateral X-ray minimally displaced

English

@PlasticsFella Exactly. Get the patient flexing, tightening that extensor hood and splinting everything underneath
English

@drmatt_ives 👍 any particular reason for dorsal instead of volar? Assuming it’s allow PIPJ to flex…

@campbellclaret @RestIsPolitics question for this week. How would @campbellclaret manage the fallout from Bairstow’s runout, if he was a member of the Australian Cricket press/comms team?
