@jaystalk89 The problem is too much tinkering. I get guys have underperformed, but there is something to be said to knowing that a) you are going to be in the lineup and b) knowing where you are going to be hitting. Schneider seems far to concerned with having multiple R's hitting in a row

@dropbombs55 I mean he’s had 1 hitter actually meeting/exceeding expectations right now. Not sure how much lineup tinkering can help with that

@UsedGolfFacts Without an individual leaderboard and stroke play format they wouldn't have convinced any of these guys to cross over, which is also exactly why the team golf format doesnt work. For it to work the entire event needs to be Team A vs B, with varying formats ala the Ryder Cup.

@dropbombs55 I think that’s fair. I think they still need to keep an individual leaderboard for OWGR purposes, but not really acknowledging it as part of their production and comms would make sense.

Scottie Scheffler is the owner of a professional fishing team. Meanwhile over half of golf twitter still struggles to understand why anyone would invest in team golf.
David Rumsey@_DavidRumsey

Asked Scottie Scheffler about owning a professional fishing team, among other off-course endeavors. "It's stuff that I really believe in and I'm passionate about. The fishing team is a good example." As for his own fishing skills? "I'm still terrible."

@ari_shapiro What else do you expect from Johnny The Red Schneider??? The guy makes some of the worst managerial decisions in the sport, the team succeeded last year in spite of him, and then the geniuses in the Jays FO decided to re-up him. We get what we deserve.

Eric Lauer saved the Blue Jays bacon last year. Without him, there is no World Series appearance. For them to nickel and dime his arbitration request, demote him to the bullpen as an afterthought, and then use him as a bizarre spot starter/long reliever? Mickey mouse management.

@kdeemoo The Pistons sure look like they could use some shooting, secondary ball handling, and shot creation right now, but they dont exactly have anything we would want.

Call me crazy, but I am unsure whether we should move Immanuel Quickley despite extending him to a crazy contract. If you're trading for him who will want him? The Magic? The Spurs? Nuggets? I am unsure which team desperately needs Immanuel Quickley's services right now..

@JoshuaHowsam He's gotta stop being content taking walks. He lets way too many hittable pitches pass him by. He just needs to find a bit more balance between being aggressive and his current very conservative approach at the plate.

When Vlad isn’t hitting, the Jays just aren’t that good. Their offence is built around him being a star and his OPS is now down to .777. That’s not awful, but his SLG is now down to .389. That’s pretty bad. He really needs to figure things out before they lose too much ground

This is Duren's real problem in this series. Two at the level on Cade, his first read is always to Duren. Mobley tags the roller, and that's an elite tag defender (DPOY). Ausar's man rotates to cut off the corner. Ausar is left open but can't space. They need to set the pick higher up the floor and let Duren hit the corner on the short roll when Mobley comes over to tag OR build in a sequence for Duren to hit Ausar on a cut. You can say "Duren just needs to go up strong and finish!" but like, that's Evan Mobley. his chances are not great. Also, Duren is a mechanism guy. He's played All-NBA FOR HIS ROLE.

@ChuckingDarts Bro the thunder played the Blazers and Lakers. Playing the Lakers alone is enough to make your offence look like the '17 Warriors.

@LJagger57091 @kdeemoo His value cant get worse than it is right now. If he has a bad year in '26 and he's only got 2 years left plus a $5M buyout on the final year. You can easily get off that with a 1st, which is what its gonna cost you now, plus now you also might need to take back bad $

Bobby doesn't pull the trigger on this.. I get you have to give up a first to move off of Jakob Poeltl’s contract but still I am not doing this for moving our pick at 19.. I think you can get a bit better here though you're clearing Jakobs Massive Contract Extension..

@NYCSportsAddict Brother what exactly do you think you are giving up for these guys? The nets have way more assets than you are giving them credit for.

The Brooklyn Nets if they trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Donovan Mitchell would have: - ZERO supporting cast in the starting 5 - ZERO bench - ZERO cap space - ZERO young talent - ZERO draft capital - ZERO future - ZERO chance at winning a ring with them - A 32-year-old, aging, highly injury-prone star whose game is reliant on athleticism (a trait that does not age well, especially for extremely tall, muscular players that already cannot stay healthy) - A 30-year-old, undersized guard (a prototype that also notoriously ages poorly in today’s NBA)

@DRaps04 If his actions warrant a suspension you 100% can and should suspend him in the middle of a playoff series. The integrity of the game depends on it.

My thoughts of what I saw at Aronimik during the practice round (you can decide what you want to take from it) Majority of the rough has thick grass but isn’t high. A majority of it doesn’t look terrible but there are some spots that are bad (the caddies and players will probably know those) The rough around the green is difficult to hit out of. I saw plenty of golfers mess up here consistently except for Alex Fitzpatrick who was incredible around the greens. The greens is the true defense of this course. They are undulating and have tons of breaks. Players were very defensive for the most part during the practice rounds. I saw Scottie rope a driver crazy distance to hit a wedge on hole 11 that hit the slope and landed back at his feet around 100 yards. I would never want to play hole 11 but I also suck at golf. Obviously they are professionals and can figure this stuff out in a couple days but this is what I observed at the course. I saw the following golfers play: Scottie Cam smith Morikawa Thorb Fitz bros Deki Rico Hoey Maybe some other ones, just need to remember again If you want to know anything about these guys, comment below and I can tell you what I saw from them

So, Raptors traded what became the 5th pick in this loaded 2026 draft for Ingram. Hindsight’s 20/20. At time of the trade, Pacers were 29-21. 4 months later, they made The Finals. A few days after that, Haliburton tore his Achilles. If you predicted that, go buy a lottery ticket
