“I don’t think it’s freedom to lie to people and to manipulate them to make their choice,” Pate said. “Lying and scaring people about gene therapy — that’s not freedom, that’s manipulation of people.” idahostatesman.com/opinion/from-t…

“This is being billed as medical freedom,” Pate said. “My impression of freedom is it’s something that belongs to all of us. If you’re giving some people some freedom not to do something, but taking away the freedom for others, that’s not medical freedom.” idahostatesman.com/opinion/from-t…

The WSJ Editorial Board weighs in: “It’s hard to recall a regulator who has done as much damage to medical innovation in as little time as Vinay Prasad. In his latest drive-by shooting, the leader of the Food and Drug Administration’s vaccine division rejected Moderna ’s mRNA flu vaccine without even a cursory review. This is arbitrary government at its worst.” wsj.com/opinion/vinay-…

1 in 200 #polio infections leads to irreversible paralysis. In the 1960s children suffering from irreversible paralysis caused by polio were required to use 'iron lungs' to help them breathe. We don't see these 'iron lungs' anymore today because #VaccinesWork

So well stated, @drterrysimpson!
Dr Terry Simpson@drterrysimpson

Imagine a lawyer mistaking liability law for toxicology and rhetoric for evidence. Vaccines are not granted immunity because they are “so harmful.” They are protected because they are so socially necessary that no manufacturer would produce them if a single adverse event could trigger ruinous litigation. That legal reality existed before modern vaccines and nearly collapsed immunization programs entirely. Mandates exist not because vaccines are weak, but because infectious diseases are efficient. Measles does not respect personal belief systems, constitutional cosplay, or Substack subscriptions. Public health is not a lifestyle choice; it’s a coordination problem. As for the claim that “billions are spent to convince people,” this is the paranoid inversion of cause and effect. The money is spent because misinformation spreads faster than viruses. It is often funded, litigated, and amplified by people who profit from sowing doubt while bearing none of the consequences. And “censorship” here means what it always does in these arguments: experts disagree, courts reject claims without evidence, and platforms declining to launder demonstrable falsehoods as debate. Only one product fits this reality, indeed: A product so effective that its absence is immediately visible in pediatric wards, cemeteries, and epidemiology textbooks. The real tell is this: when evidence is weak, the language grows grandiose; when data is absent, outrage does the heavy lifting.

The whole “medical freedom” rallying cry has always been a lie in attempt to further and legitimize their agenda. They don’t want others to have the medical freedom to receive vaccines. It was never about allowing people to opt out of mandates.

Dr. Robert Malone says there are ways to remove COVID shots from the market if the FDA won’t act. “I’m not deaf to the calls that we need to get the COVID vaccine mRNA products off the market.” “All I can say is stay tuned and wait for the upcoming ACIP meeting.” “If the FDA won’t act, there are other entities that will.”

1. A #flu update: 12 more kids have died, bringing the 2025-26 pediatric death toll to 44 so far. This time last year the total was 27 — & last year went on to be a record year for kids dying from flu. These deaths are reported on a lag; more will come, sadly. CDC says ~90% weren't vaxed.

Incredible how detrimental the (often politically motivated) grifter lies about COVID vaccine have been. Reality: MANY studies have found safe & effective. NO sudden death. NO turbo cancer. Eg: "...no increased risk of 4-year all-cause mortality..." jamanetwork.com/journals/jaman…

Roald Dahl on Measles: Olivia, my eldest daughter, caught measles when she was seven years old. As the illness took its usual course I can remember reading to her often in bed and not feeling particularly alarmed about it. Then one morning, when she was well on the road to recovery, I was sitting on her bed showing her how to fashion little animals out of coloured pipe-cleaners, and when it came to her turn to make one herself, I noticed that her fingers and her mind were not working together and she couldn’t do anything. 'Are you feeling all right?' I asked her. 'I feel all sleepy,' she said. In an hour, she was unconscious. In twelve hours she was dead. The measles had turned into a terrible thing called measles encephalitis and there was nothing the doctors could do to save her. That was...in 1962, but even now, if a child with measles happens to develop the same deadly reaction from measles as Olivia did, there would still be nothing the doctors could do to help her. On the other hand, there is today something that parents can do to make sure that this sort of tragedy does not happen to a child of theirs. They can insist that their child is immunised against measles. ...I dedicated two of my books to Olivia, the first was ‘James and the Giant Peach’. That was when she was still alive. The second was ‘The BFG’, dedicated to her memory after she had died from measles. You will see her name at the beginning of each of these books. And I know how happy she would be if only she could know that her death had helped to save a good deal of illness and death among other children. Roald Dahl, 1986

the H1 virus that usually predominates in our flu seasons, I fear we will see far more deaths. Unlike COVID, we can expect roughly half the pediatrics flu deaths to be in healthy children.
