@EchoesOfMoods That sounds like something to celebrate, and as a LC patient myself it gives me hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Here’s to your healthy new start.

@RoryStewartUK I really really really hope you are right. The thought of the alternative is too awful.

Journalists would like the US race to seem as close as possible - it suits their appetite for suspense and @afneil ‘s desire to prod the establishment. But this won’t be a close race decided by a “couple of thousand votes”. He is wrong. And Kamala Harris will win.

"This election started as a dead heat and it's got even closer. You're talking about a couple of thousand votes," says @afneil to @MrHarryCole Watch #NeverMindTheBallots, in association with @BetfairExchange: youtu.be/0IrOdNUbdWo?si…

This week marks 4.5 years since I got Covid that led to 3 years of Long Covid, so I’m just here to update that I’m still doing well and symptom-free 18 months on.

@dr_ianjackson According to my LC clinic exercise is fine as long as I don’t go above 60% of my maximum heart rate. No idea what that is so I guess they’re recommending I push myself to my limits without any medical oversight and then… wait & see how long it takes to recover? Idiots.

Tonight is the first full moon after the autumnal equinox - the Winterfylleð moon, which in the old Anglo-Saxon calendar was the herald of winter.
Eleanor Parker@ClerkofOxford
It's October, the month with perhaps the most evocative name in the Anglo-Saxon calendar: in Old English it was called 'Winterfylleð', because the full moon of this month marked the beginning of winter.

@dr_ianjackson Thank you for sharing this. I’m so sorry for your daughter. I’m just at the start of my LC journey and already highly disillusioned with the LC clinic. I hope your daughter improves and I’m sending healing wishes her way.

My daughter has long Covid and this is an excellent short documentary. Those cynical about LC should watch this...this includes all clinical staff (nurses, physios and doctors).
I have witnessed my daughter being gaslit by them & then discharged when they couldn't help.
