@BBCCambs Or, and this is just a suggestion, they could use their own eyes. Or simply drive down any road in Cambridgeshire and use the bone-jarring bumps as a guide to where repairs are required.

Who's on the Mount Rushmore of musicians who have been in at least two major bands? Our talented four: Dave Grohl - Nirvana, Foo Fighters Paul McCartney - The Beatles, Wings Eric Clapton - The Yardbirds, Cream Chris Cornell - Soundgarden, Audioslave Yeah, we know. They were in others, but we only needed two. Who's on yours?

On March 22, 1982, Iron Maiden dropped a monster. The Number of the Beast changed heavy metal forever — Bruce Dickinson’s debut, killer riffs, and songs that still hit like thunder in 2026. Run to the Hills? Hallowed Be Thy Name? The Number of the Beast? The Prisoner? What’s your favorite song from Please Please Me? Did you or do you have this album? What format? #IronMaiden #ClassicMetal

@markrwilliamson The first agenda item should be to ask EWR Co to justify its route selection given it has admitted that a northern route would be less environmentally damaging.

The Environment Agency has been bought on board East West Rail as the sole environmental regulator, in a move the government says will speed up delivery of the new Oxford–Cambridge railway. 2

In the state of Wyoming in the USA lies a real hydrological oddity. It's a small stream (creek) that is thought to be the only one of very few examples in the world. It is placed so precariously and perfectly that it's hard to believe it is able to exist. 1/n

@engineers_feed Insufficient information to determine whether any of these trucks are driving. A could be braking it on a slope. B could be stationary or moving at a constant speed. C could be accelerating or on a slope.

@curiosityonx Controversial is one way of putting it. Gibbering nonsense is another way, unless our brains are somehow breaking causality, one of the most fundamental aspects of our universe. Or is this a sensationalist summary?

Despite the #anger, disappointment and frustration of last night, and #Leven's comment "We are in #trouble," the #Dons need our support and backing as never before, starting on Saturday against Falkirk. None of us want #relegation.

I’d pay for billions more in defence by switching funds from net zero nonsense. So no need to increase tax burden. And the rises in defence spending are barely perceptible. Which is a national scandal.
Andy@andythegymrat

@afneil You moan about the tax burden and then moan about not enough defence spending. And defence spending is increasing, so that’s not true either.

@afneil @British_Airways I really don’t see the problem with BA rewarding those who spend most money with BA as opposed to people going on loss-making tier point runs to game the system.

The impact of the changes won’t be felt til April, when tumbleweed will start blowing through the Concorde and First Class lounges — and @British_Airways will be forced to rethink its cavalier treatment of its most loyal/high spending customers. If not — other airlines are available, often better than BA. I will be watching with interest from the comfort of the Delta, Emirates and Air France lounges. Thank you for your attention to this matter, Sean Doyle.

@PolemicTMM But Andrew Neil told me that getting rid of some people in the business class lounge would spell their downfall!

Loch Maree in Scotland is a very pretty stretch of water. Arguably the prettiest in the country. In additon to its beauty, it has a claim to a record among UK lakes & lochs. 1/3
