Just to remove any chance of any misunderstanding, while we understand the need to secure the train & the passengers who will travel using it, making passengers change trains will defeat the very purpose of the line and render the thousands of crores of investment pointless. Check the train/passengers in Katra or Jammu sure but NO change of train will be supported by us. That said there is no concrete proposal & when there is we will give our inputs/suggestions.

Despite some confusion about the rules of business, this is the time for the @OmarAbdullah government to put its foot down and go for a radical review and rationalisation of the existing Reservation Policy which is a total travesty of justice to the Open Merit candidates. This, in fact, is a chronic malaise. This is the right time to keep reservations proportional to the size of the population of a category. This is the right time to fully abolish some categories as the Reservation of certain categories has been blatantly misused and meritocracy has been failed for decades in broad daylight in Jammu and Kashmir. This is a particular responsibility of the @JKNC_ government which has promised a review of the Reservation Policy in its election manifesto. If it fails to fulfill its commitments to the employable youths, who constitute 70% of our electorate, it will meet the same fate in 2029 which its adversaries met in 2024.

Awakening "inner fire" to completely make gall bladder polyps disappear is the new rubbish "medinfluencer" Ayurveda practitioners are bringing to town. Do not for a second believe this nonsense. "Before" and "After" reports based on anecdotal, single patient "stories" are a common tactic by alternative medicine practitioners to mislead people into believing that their voodoo treatments work. In fact, I know of a Homeopathy practitioner, who famously "cured" patients with chronic hepatitis B virus infection by simply changing the positive report to a negative one using Adobe Photoshop. The same can be true here too. Please do not believe or opt for pseudoscientific alternative treatments for diseases that require realistic care based on "before and after" social media stories. The reports may be manipulated or it could be another patient's report - which is possible in this video too. Removal of gall bladder is a best option and curative treatment for certain gall bladder diseases. Removing the gall bladder does not increase pressure on the liver (trust me, I am a Liver Doctor) and does not make the liver "work hard!" Removing the gall bladder will anatomically change the storage of bile produced by the liver to the upper part of small intestine and nothing more. This does not affect the functioning of the liver in any way. All gall bladder polyps do not require surgical management. Here is what the science has to say on it. To oversimplify: Polyps even in the absence of symptoms, smaller than 10 mm do have the capacity to become cancerous and surgery is recommended when patient has one of more risk factors such as: age more than 60 years, history of primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), Asian ethnicity, sessile polypoid lesion (including focal gallbladder wall thickening > 4 mm). For polyps smaller than 10 mm without risk factors, a follow-up at 6 months, 1 year and 2 years with abdominal ultrasound seems to be appropriate. The indication for gall bladder removal should be discussed with the patient in the case of dynamic or unexpected polyp growth. While all governments in J&K have claimed credit for development, none in the last 16 years has sanctioned/constructed a full-fledged District Hospital in my Budgam district. A PHC on 2 kanals of land has been running as DH in Budgam since 1979. The land of 78 kanals, which the residents donated and handed over to the Govt for hospital through me at Rishipora in 2007 has not been utilised till date. This is my umpteenth, AND NOW THE LAST, appeal to @OfficeOfLGJandK @manojsinha_ to sanction a full-fledged DH and start the construction. Now on, I will never repeat this public demand.
