Getting outside is good for your mental well-being. And even more so if you can go to a park or forest or other natural area. #mondaymotivation

We need people to get more active not less. This means addressing the global issue of climate change. One thing people can do is stop driving everywhere. Can you walk to the store? Can you walk to an appointment? Can you walk to work? Can you get rid of a car? Or have no car at all? #hearthealth #climatechange (& yes I have no car & walk everywhere to do my part!)

People are turning to chatbots to solve their loneliness, but a recent study found texting with a human was still better. If you know someone that's alone, send them a message. University students were randomized to control (journaling), chatbot or assigned pairs for texting.

If you've been sitting for 20-30 minutes, time to get up an move around. A 2-10 minute amount of activity, such as walking, can help your insulin and glucose metabolism, as well as give you a boost of energy. #mondaymotivation

Even if you don't have time or motivation to do your full workout, doing anything is better than none as it keeps the habit going and makes it easier to get back to full workouts when you're ready. Consistency comes from habit and routine.

@DrScottLear Late morning. Ensures I get enough sleep, and eat a good breakfast 60 to 90 minutes before working out. Although, it might be a little earlier in the summer due to the heat.
