@LuckyLady5lots @AdamTho88718953 @Optus @optus_help @NBN_Australia Likewise. Our internet (optus nbn) has been slow and erratic since the outage.

@AdamTho88718953 @Optus @optus_help @NBN_Australia Glad I am not the only one experiencing this. Everything was awesome before the outage. But since, it's been erratic and failing a lot

What is up with the internet? Is it working is it not working? Why is it worse now after the outage? Oh but resolved this a fgggking joke. All lights on but nothing happening or it works for 10 mins. @Optus @optus_help @NBN_Australia #OptusOutage

@DrNatalieSmith1 @BrettSegal Yet we have been told that NSW Health is taking Desflurane off the state formulary, and this decision has the support of ANZCA.

Fantastic combination of science and common sense: desflurane makes negligible contribution to climate change @annualcongress2023, @damejuliaslingo

Sydney teachers are reporting an alarming surge in the number of students who are vaping at school. The state and federal governments are promising to do more, but parents warn it is already a crisis. 7NEWS.com.au #7NEWS

How to fix this:
1. Better conditions for permanent medical staff at our public hospitals.
NSW salaried docs are currently the worst paid across Australia working under an Award written 35+ years ago. Of course there are workforce shortages.

@expensivecare @psirides I wonder if the comparison is to a historical rate, rather than nurse anaesthetists? Attempting to say that decades of research, progress and training by anaesthesiologists have reduced deaths 50 fold?

Disgusting attack on public hospital doctors. I wonder what @hsunsw members think of their union spending their money attacking the people they work with every day to care for patients. In a system where team work is so vital, this is so unhelpful. amansw.com.au/ama-nsw-denoun…

A/Prof Kathryn Browning Carmo is a senior staff specialist neonatologist, retrieval consultant, and Deputy Director of NETSNSW. She also devotes her time to supporting the Humpty Dumpty Foundation. She is 1 of 1000s of doctors who puts patients 1st. #Vastmajorityofdoctors

@nick_coatsworth We haven’t shied away from the fact of a few defrauding Medicare who need to be held to account.Nor that Medicare needs modernising. But painting doctors as greedy thieves does nothing to improve the system for patients. It’s the system that needs fixing @ama_media @amapresident

Yeah we were just saying the other day that these masks we have been wearing for thirty years and more in the operating theatre all day are such a TREK so how about we just ditch them & let some more people die?

A good read. Our governments need to do more. Public Health is their responsibility. Less ideology and more science.
