SC wins big and hammers 38-0 UConn and Geno walks off, has words with Dawn Staley, but what he does is disrespect the winning players by storming out, not shaking their hands and facing them Sad day for women’s bball, instead of celebrating excellence the focus is on Geno not SC

At High Point, Flynn Clayman runs his staff differently. Instead of assistants doing a little bit of everything, he assigns coordinators: One owns offense. One owns defense. One owns special teams. Not traditional. But intentional. Because when everyone is responsible for everything… no one truly grows. Clayman learned this from his mentors. When he was trusted to run the offense, it accelerated his development. So now, he does the same for his staff. Yes, you give up some control. But you gain clarity, ownership, and better coaching. Assistants aren’t just helping anymore. They’re leading. And when coaches grow, the team grows. Build a staff where people can specialize, own their role, and thrive, not just survive. Are you asking your people to do everything… or putting them in positions to be great at something?

Overprotected kids become unprepared adults. Dawn Staley nailed it.🔥 You can’t shelter your child from every hard moment and then expect them to handle adversity when it counts. Hard is the lesson. Watch. Share. Bookmark.

Spend five minutes in dentistry and you’ll hear two extreme takes. DSOs are taking over and private practice is dying… or nothing has changed and everyone still becomes an owner. Both miss the point. Dentistry didn’t abandon ownership. It delayed it. About half of new grads say they’re going into “private practice,” but most mean associate, not owner. Roughly a quarter to a third go straight into DSOs or corporate groups. Very few buy a practice right out of school anymore. That sounds like a revolution until you zoom out. Early ownership is down. But 15 to 20 years in, ownership rates start to converge. Many dentists still become owners. They just do it later, after more reps, more confidence, and fewer illusions about how fun payroll is. Why the shift? Because owning a practice today is a different animal. It’s not just dentistry. It’s HR, insurance chaos, staffing, marketing, compliance, tech, and managing the front desk version of the United Nations. DSOs are growing because they solve that complexity. For many young dentists, that first job isn’t selling out. It’s buying time to learn dentistry without running a small business on day one. The mistake is turning this into DSO vs private practice. That’s not the real model anymore. Dentistry now has multiple career paths. Some go straight to ownership. Some delay it. Some never want it. Some end up in hybrid models that didn’t exist 20 years ago. And intentions don’t equal outcomes. A new grad might plan on a DSO and buy a practice 7 years later. Another might plan on ownership and realize they hate managing people more than packing cord on a bleeding molar. For owners, the lesson is simple. If you want great associates, build a place worth staying. Mentor them. Show them the business. Make ownership look like an opportunity, not a warning label. For young dentists, your first job is not your identity. Whether you’re in a DSO or private office, treat it like paid training. Learn systems. Learn people. Learn the business before you try to own it. The loudest voices are arguing about the first 3 years. A dental career lasts 30. What matters more… where you start, or where you end up?

I'm old enough to remember when Tebow first blew up at Florida. Always thought he had to have been hiding some big secret bc there's just no way anybody is really that good of a person. 20 years later he is the only guy I can think of who was built up by the media to be a saint and has actually lived up to it. Also has a higher playoff passer rating than Tom Brady.

Tim Tebow hosted a red carpet event called 'Night to Shine' to celebrate and uplift individuals with special needs ❤️

👇I love this from Bobby Hurley. 💥If you are a teacher or coach you need to push people beyond their self-imposed limitations. ‼️If you are an athlete, be thankful when a teacher or coach pushes you beyond your comfort zone.

Crazy story at yesterdays @Mets game - Guy in section 121 had a heart attack and his wife started frantically yelling for help or a doctor or nurse to come over - One random guy in the section who said he was neither started doing chest compressions and saved the mans life. Eventually paramedics showed up to take over and assist the fallen man. The hero went back to his seat, sat down and watched the rest of the game with zero fanfare or attention. He just wanted to watch the Mets win. When the game ended he walked out like nothing had happened. Don't know his name but he saved a mans life and is a hero.

Love this from #Illini head coach Brad Underwood - asked if he has any issue/finds it unfair to have to play Houston IN Houston in the Sweet 16. "I could care less... I'm an old JUCO ball coach. I drove on 16 passenger fans. I drove from Dodge City, Kansas to Mesa, Arizona for a basketball game... If you had told me back then that I'm getting to coach basketball in the Sweet 16 and play Houston - I would sign up for it, I would crawl to get there." Says regardless of where the game is, Illinois would/will need to play well to beat the Cougars. (Video from NCAA)

Now that UNC has fired a good coach in Hubert Davis. What’s the bar set at UNC? How much does the next coach have to achieve to be retained ? #idliketoknowyouropinion
