@danielsgoldman @M322233 It’s estimated 11% of eligible voters (mostly poor) don't have an ID, it should be easy & free to obtain one- real ID requires birth certificate or Passport ($), actual social security card/W2 if wage earner, and proof of residency (bills, statements, $)

Do you have a passport? Do you know where your birth certificate is? If the answer to both is no, then you cannot vote under the SAVE Act. The SAVE Act is NOT a voter ID bill. It’s a voter suppression bill.

This @HHSGov statement concerning @WHO contains inaccurate information. The truth is as follows: While WHO recommended the use of masks, physical distancing and vaccines, WHO did not recommend governments to mandate the use of masks or vaccines and never recommended lockdowns. WHO supported sovereign governments with technical advice and guidance that was developed on the basis of evolving evidence on #COVID19 for them to make policy decisions in the best interests of their citizens. Each government made their own decisions, based on their needs and circumstances.

How to test positive for stupid—eliminate lifesaving recommendations for vaccines. Sec. Kennedy must urgently reverse his new, unscientific vaccine schedule that eliminates universal recommendations for 6 vaccines & puts kids at risk from deadly diseases.

Science doesn’t ask you to “trust experts.” It asks you to trust evidence that survives challenge. The scientific establishment isn’t a priesthood — it’s a process: hypothesis → data → replication → correction. Tyranny is demanding belief without evidence. Science does the opposite: it earns authority by being willing to be wrong. What authoritarians and grifters hate isn’t “experts.” It’s consensus, because consensus means their pet theory lost. Saying “don’t trust experts” while selectively trusting fringe doctors, anecdotes, and YouTube personalities isn’t skepticism — it’s epistemic shopping. Democracy depends on informed citizens. Science supplies the information by testing reality. When evidence changes, science changes. When facts don’t cooperate, demagogues change the definition of science. Data beats dogma. Every time.
HHS Rapid Response@HHSResponse

.@SecKennedy: “There’s a big difference between established science and the scientific establishment. We all know that trusting the experts is not a feature of science; it’s not a feature of democracy — it’s a feature of tyranny.”

According to the chat below, 1 of the suggestions is that FDA approval could be replaced w/ review websites like the ones for the cell phone market he said. Replace FDA w/ anonymous Yelp-like reviews but for cancer drugs or cod liver oil
Pearl Freier@PearlF

"What would the world look like without the FDA?....in many ways it might be like the way the cellular phone market is.. there's a # of websites that are rating phones all the time...there may be different groups of people who rate cancer drugs differently." cc'ing @JohnCendpts

Jeremy is right (and knows more about responding to Ebola than most) There have been 12 Ebola/Marburg outbreaks in the past 4 years Because of USAID and our work with WHO All of them have been stamped out locally with zero cases in the US Elon's gutting of USAID and our withdrawal from WHO leaves the world -- and us -- vulnerable
Jeremy Konyndyk@JeremyKonyndyk

So - I've actually led Ebola outbreak response at @USAID. This is bunk from Elon. They have laid off most of the experts, they're bankrupting most of the partner orgs, have withdrawn from WHO, and muzzled CDC. What's left is a fig-leaf effort to cover their asses politically.
