Had a supervised RoboTaxi ride this morning and got an unsupervised Waymo back to my car. The kids enjoyed a first today. 🥳🚀 One day, they'll be able to hail a car and just show up at my place.

With new information released by @SpaceX on the design of V3 Starship, one interesting new capability is the high-voltage electrically actuated cryogenic recirculation system and other upgrades designed to increase the time the ship can operate in space. I thought this sounded familiar to recent @NASA research on this topic as well as the publicized collaborative work with @SpaceX using this and other related research efforts. Starship V3 Cryogenic Recirculation – Integrating NASA Research for Extended Orbital Operations 1/ Starship Version 3 introduces a high-voltage electrically actuated cryogenic recirculation system, supported by 100% vacuum-jacketed header feed lines and upgraded RCS thrusters. This capability enables prolonged on-orbit operations by maintaining propellant quality over extended periods. It directly builds upon NASA cryogenic fluid management (CFM) research.

Yesterday at the HEB, I had an older lady approach me, she had tons of questions and was very sweet. As I was talking to her, a mid 40’s couple came up and joined in. Again, an awesome conversation! I was thinking to myself, you know real life vs the internet is reversed. I was proven wrong 🤣. I had my windows cracked and overheard a 30’ish woman with her friend come by, and she said the following. “If my husband was here he’d rip that firebird off the hood of that 🖕🏼’ing POS”. My response, “And then he’d be dead!” She couldn’t get away fast enough 😂🤣😂

Hard to say for sure, but production of the $59K AWD @Cybertruck may be just getting started here on this early and soggy morning at Giga Texas … this version is much harder to visually distinguish from the premium AWD versions, so I’ll come back on Wednesday and we’ll see if this is in fact happening. I hope so as there are many new Cybertruck owners eager to get their truck! Cybercab production is also proceeding slowly as @Tesla told us it would be early on, but there are still dozens of new Cybercabs in the outbound lot today. I hope we start seeing more of these soon & perhaps introduction into the @robotaxi fleet soon. I (along with many others) want to give them a try!
