Frank Herbert wrote about the coming dangers of A.I. in Dune. We are now blindly and freely accepting the creation of, what Frank Herbert coined, a Techno-Peasantry. A.I. is by orders of magnitude increasing the amount of things we can do without thinking. Our creative and critical thinking is rapidly eroding - to the point of counterfeiting the human mind. Just because we “can” do something…doesn’t mean we “should”. One easy example is gain-of-function with viruses. I’ve been seeing more and more people talking about the “Butlerian Jihad” and the existential threat of conscious machines. Like most of us, I was intrigued and excited about A.I., but now my feelings are evolving to the contrary. We are rapidly approaching a singularity with A.I., which will not lead to prosperity, but to enslavement.

Let’s talk H1B. In March 2024, I got a call. My job was gone. So was everyone else's. Infosys didn't replace one or two of us. They replaced the whole department. Every. Single. One. Their guy chose to keep his friends employed over American workers. This isn't a story. It's a playbook. Here's what they don't tell you about H-1B abuse in Ohio: → Ohioans have lost ~$300M per H-1B worker cycle → Wages drop tens of thousands per replaced job → That money doesn't pay Ohio rent. Doesn't hit Ohio restaurants. Doesn't pay Ohio taxes. It leaves. Infosys paid $34M settling federal fraud charges for exactly this. Now Vivek Ramaswamy wants to be Ohio's governor. The same man whose company used H-1B visas 29 times. The same man who told Americans we "venerate mediocrity over excellence." He got fired from DOGE partly for saying that. He says he wants to reform H-1B now. His record says otherwise. I'm running for Lt. governor because I know what it feels like. To be told your job, your team, your livelihood just doesn't matter. After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. Speaking of Rise Armament, even though the rifle advertised as the prize isn’t a Rise Armament rifle, my 11.5 is a Rise Armament Watchman and it’s by far my most reliable & accurate 5.56/.223 (it’s chambered in .223 Wylde) sub-16 inch barreled rifle I’ve owned….and I’ve owned a bunch. It’s sub-MOA with the ammo I use (Hornady BLACK 5.56 NATO 75 gr Interlock HD SBR mostly, but M193, GreenTip, and 77 gr OTM all run flawlessly too) and the Atrius super safety works perfectly - I just installed it and zero issues ….and I’m waiting to get my new Dead Air CT5P direct-thread suppressor for it. Rise Armament triggers are absolutely as good, and some absolutely are better without a doubt, than Geissele triggers - especially the single stage triggers.
