Solos is coming to Black Ops Royale tomorrow! As a reminder, this mode was originally designed and balanced to launch as a Quads experience. While we recognize the strong interest in a Solos option, please be aware that gameplay is not yet fully tuned for a single player experience. We'll be keeping an eye open for feedback as we continue to make adjustments and improvements! GLHF.

Black Ops Royale has lowered the barrier to entry for casual players to be on a level playing field with everyone else by removing the need to level meta weapons up. However, the feedback I’ve seen from casual players is that they hate the mode and are leaving in masses. The gameplay itself definitely favors sweatier players, but I want to hear from any of you who consider yourself casual, what do you think of Black Ops Royale / Blackout 2.0? Are your casual friends playing or enjoying the mode? Let me know, I’m tryna see something.

🚨 BLACK OPS ROYALE / BLACKOUT 2.0 LOOT UPDATE 🚨 • Increased weapon spawn rates of Sniper Rifles, SMGs, Shotguns and Pistols • Decreased spawn rate of LMGs and M34 Novaline • Increased spawn rate of weapon attachment kits from ground loot and supply boxes • Safecracker USBs now drop on death and have 10% increased drop rate from Surveillance drones Overall W changes and they came relatively quickly too!

People are saying Black Ops Royale should allow players to choose their attachments on weapons. I firmly disagree, here's why: ▪️ They've already built two archetypes for every gun that needs a different attachment set ▪️ If anything, the option to choose the sights you want for each archetype would be my only recommended change ▪️ Most people still don't realize that the attachments make much less of a difference to the weapons improvements than the silent upgrades that come along with each step ▪️ Each upgrade gives a massive boost to the important stats, so the attachments are basically null That system is mostly good as is. Instead of changes around the builds themselves, I'd much rather be able to transfer my Weapon Upgrades to another weapon or store ~3 of them for later.

Blackout 2.0 or Black Ops Royale Warzone COULD be the Greatest Warzone integration of all time. 👑 with these added fixes -ability to pre pick attachments and camos to personalize weapons (still no 'loadout drop') -spawn more loot so weapons are easier to find -150 or at least 125 player count -add solo, trios, and duos -TTK shouldn't be so fast adjust a tad bit -more contracts/missions for better direction in game -redeploy towers should have a small uav radius for teams camping the towers -fix audio (teams activating mission can be heard across the map) All i could think of so far comment down below any suggestions⬇️

Here’s a million dollar idea for blackout: Players pre select their attchemnts for ground loot guns. Everything still works as is however when you upgrade your gun, you’re upgrading with attachments you prefer + camos + blueprints. Let’s talk about it at our next meeting @CallofDutyCM @clipperrob

Good news: We’ve heard your feedback on adding more ways to play Black Ops Royale, and Solos is coming! While this will require some backend work and a few changes that need to happen before it goes live, we're excited to get Solos into the game and we'll share more details on timing as we get closer to deploying. We plan to add Solos as a Private Match option next week to help gather early data on match pacing and overall balance. In the meantime, keep your feedback coming throughout the weekend!
