While Michigan families are getting crushed by rising costs and Republicans push even more cuts to social programs like SNAP and Medicaid, James was spotted in Turks and Caicos, far away from the people he represents.
For a congressman that wants to be Michigan's next Governor, the luxury vacation optics are about as bad as it gets. Republicans’ broader budget fights have included proposed cuts affecting social spending while spending all of your tax dollars on an unpopular war.

Today I signed an executive directive to help Michigan businesses receive refunds for tariff costs. The president’s tariffs have jacked up costs and Michiganders have paid the price. The Supreme Court ruled that these tariffs are illegal. Michiganders deserve their money back.

So, let me get this straight. We, the consumers end up paying for tariffs, not companies. But yet, hugely profitable companies will be getting refunds, and we continued to get fucked (you guys like the public swearing, right?). You have been and continue to be a huge failure for our state. November can’t come soon enough.
