So the EU cut itself off from cheap Russian gas and practically applauded when Nord Stream was destroyed. Then it rushed into a deal with Qatar, only to see that option collapse when the Strait of Hormuz shut down. And now, after systematically eliminating every viable alternative, it’s stuck relying on expensive US LNG from its so-called "closest ally" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Iran war is about shaping the multi-polar world order of the future in hurting the rival (and allied) economies with high energy costs. Europe is done. So lot's of opportunity for Washington to exploit weak countries. Trump will try hard to get the ressources the U.S. needs/wants, be it in Greenland, Canada, Venezuela or Cuba. There is no hesitation in grabbing land or in exploiting cheap labor in the South. To weaken China, all Washington has to do is getting Russia in a perpetual war with Ukraine. I bet, Kiew will be not allowed to make peace ever - which would set a trap for Putin. Russia must go all in and conquer Ukraine in order to get peace! But the price might be too high in all regards. Mind you, the OPEC oil crisis in the 1970s were in my humble opinion orchestrated by Washington in order to weaken developping countries. But that's another story for another day.

This morning I formally asked the Pentagon for the name of the US Navy destroyer which shot down the Iranian missile on its way to Diego Garcia, and for information on when and where the interception took place. I'll let you know what they say.

@barkmeta Remember 9/11? Before the "event" took place, some "mysterious" trades were made regarding put options of the Airlines involved. The people involved knew what would happen in advance. Luckily, the SEC destroyed all documents regarding the trades. Why? Go figure.

Let me explain what just happened 👇 5 minutes before the President announced a halt to attacks on Iran… someone placed a $1.5 BILLION bet on stocks going up and dumped $192 million in oil. 5 minutes… These trades were 4 to 6 times larger than anything else in the entire market. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch. There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made. Someone in that room picked up a phone. And within minutes they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ a gallon gas and $16 billion in tax dollars. American citizens funded this war. Politicians are profiting from it. This is not the first time. Every major announcement from this administration has had massive suspicious trades right before it dropped. Tariff reversals. Policy shifts. War decisions. This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight. You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. These people are front running war decisions with billion dollar bets and nobody will ever ask a single question. Nobody will be investigated. Nobody will be charged. By tomorrow this will be buried under the next satisfying headline. Just like last time. And the time before that. The game is rigged. And they’re not even trying to hide it anymore…

BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market. In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold. These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time. The trader seemingly made huge gains. Unusual.

So you mean to tell me, an airplane can go right through the World Trade Center that had steel structure beams of 4 inch plate every 40” using 12 different grades of steel with a yield strength of 100,000 psi but if the same plane were to run into a firetruck on a runway the plane is completely destroyed. Got it!

NY Times has essentially confirmed that Israel played a role in stimulating the violent regime change riots that left around 3000 dead in Iran this January 8 and 9, but which were marketed in the West as pro-democracy protests. It was well understood by the Mossad that those riots would help stimulate military action by Trump. Israeli intel merely needed to convince the feeble-minded president that a wave of decapitation strikes would unleash a massive upheaval to immediately topple the Islamic Republic. The January riots were presented to Trump as a preview of what was to come. Western media, including the NY Times and The Guardian, played a central role in legitimizing Israel's deception by falsely characterizing the violent regime change riots as mere protests, massively inflating the death toll and covering up the fact that many were murdered by the Israel-backed rioters themselves The whole of Western media and the Western human rights industrial complex deliberately misrepresented the real character of those riots. But now that the war they helped to instigate is going badly for the US and Israel, that same media is now free to reveal a few kernels of truth.

@nxt888 Don't forget Operation Menu, when President Nixon decided to bomb Cambodia in secret for more than a year (1969-1970). This campaign lead later on to the tyranny of Khmer rouge with lots of terror for the Cambodian people (ofc Washington had a hand in that).

Operation Rolling Thunder. From 1965 to 1968, the United States conducted a sustained bombing campaign against North Vietnam. The goal was to break the will of the North Vietnamese government and people. To make the cost of continuing the war too high to bear. They dropped 864,000 tons of bombs. The will was not broken. So they escalated. Operation Linebacker. Operation Linebacker II, the Christmas Bombings of 1972: twelve days of around-the-clock bombing of Hanoi and Haiphong, described by some U.S. generals as trying to "bomb them back to the Stone Age." Hospitals were hit. Residential areas were hit. Bạch Mai Hospital, the largest hospital in North Vietnam, was hit repeatedly. After the Christmas Bombings, the North Vietnamese negotiating position at the Paris Peace talks did not weaken. It strengthened. They bombed us into refusing to surrender. Every bomb that fell on a hospital, every family killed in their home, every village erased from the map created ten more people who would die before they accepted foreign domination. This is what American strategists, with all their degrees and all their think tanks and all their war games, failed to understand about the people they were trying to break. You cannot bomb dignity out of people who have decided they would rather die than give it up.

Wrong. The only language they understand is the language of violence. Now is the time to pound the crap out of Iran and eradicate the terrorist regime that occupies that once great country, and to make sure they can't threaten anyone -- not in the Middle East and not in Europe or anywhere else. Iran is run by a terrorist regime that cannot and should not be negotiated with. The regime CANNOT be trusted to keep its weapons at bay and use them to blackmail their neighbors, unlike China, Russia or whoever else that possesses such capabilities. And besides, they don't want to negotiate anyway, they even said so.
Glenn Diesen@Glenn_Diesen

Iran's missile capacity is far beyond what was assumed. If Iran can strike Diego Garcia, then Europe is also within range. This is worth keeping in mind before Europeans join the war, especially as Russia may have some targets for Iran to respond to 4 years of European attacks on Russian territory with Storm Shadows and other weapons. These wars are connected and we could already be in a new World War. Now is the time for diplomacy and de-escalation.

@LindseyGrahamSC You have to read between the lines. Washington is threatening Spain. As an Empire, the U.S. would never remove a military base from another country. With other words: Bad things might happen to Spain. Beware.

Mr. President, one of the things I like about you most is that, now, our allies take America for granted at their own peril.   As to my suggestion, I meant it then and I’ll repeat it now: We should consider removing U.S. bases from countries who won’t let us fly from them as we confront the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism who has been hellbent on developing a nuclear weapon and was extremely close to achieving that goal.   Spain’s refusal to allow American aircraft stationed in Spain to fly in support of Operation Epic Fury is an insult and an outrage to the alliance. Mr. President, I think America’s interests would be well-served to move those aircraft from Spain to a country that we can actually rely on in a time of great need. I trust your judgment.   Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Open Source Intel@Osint613

Reporter: Lindsey Graham has asked for you to reconsider the American basis in Spain, in Germany, after what they have done in the Strait of Hormuz. What do you think? U.S. President Donald Trump: "Well, it deserves. He's right about asking that. And I think NATO's gone down a long way because they haven't, I mean, they should be helping with the strait. They get much of their energy from the Strait of Hormuz. And if Lindsey Graham said that, and don't forget, he was the big NATO guy for a while, and now he's not. And a lot of senators and congressmen, they were very upset with the fact that NATO has done nothing."

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake. The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure. The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America. I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.
