I think there has been a big misunderstanding on this issue. Elon is talking about hiring highly trained foreign tech experts, and MAGA is worried about companies like Disney abusing these laws to enforce foreign workforce replacements over American jobs. We're all on the same page here, but we need to frame the argument better to avoid confusion. Nobody on the right is worried about a few highly trained tech experts from India, but we are very concerned about the woke left abusing the H1B loopholes to put foreign employees above the American people. Trump frames the issue well here below. Notice he doesn't say abolish H1B. He just says, "Prevent it from being abused." 🫡
