A doctor just sent me this message from General Hospital Wudil in Kano State. This young man is currently lying in this hospital. He is a Christian from Biu Local Government Area in Borno State. After converting to Islam, he relocated to Kano State. While at his workplace, Allah tested him with a fracture in his hand, and he is now seeking financial assistance for surgery and medical treatment. He called his relatives on the phone, but they hung up and told him not to try calling them again. At the moment, the hand has started to smell and deteriorate due to lack of funds. His original name: Dunahyel Muazu His Muslim name: Muhammad Age: 34 Current address: Sabon Gari, Kano This is the phone number you can call to be connected with him: 08145987649 For the sake of Allah, dear brothers and sisters, let us help this servant of God as we usually do. Account number: 8105891413 Name: Alhassan Musa Bank: OPay We will pay his surgery and treatment bills directly to the hospital, and whatever remains will be given to him to continue his treatment. May Allah make it successful, Ameen. Please help us by sharing 🙏

When you are in a ditch, stop digging. You started by listing Christian and Muslim Governors. I simply asked you to start from beginning. And please.😂😂😂. I am not Fulani. I am Yoruba. I am not from Kwara. This "den of Dan Fodio" comment brings me to the religious politics some of you play. That is how Fatai Buhari was being called a Fulani, because he is Muslim. You see this gragra religious rhetoric you want to bring to Politics. You will learn.😂
OLUWATAYO🇳🇬@TheOluwatayo

This is for your state kwara. Finally take your religious politics to the den of fodio, take it away from our land.

@SamuelOmogor @sarnchos You're absolutely right. I was perplexed at the sheer number of car dealers along that gwarinpa route, everything just sprang up at geometric progression and I don't even understand who are buying those heavy cars

How many of you have noticed the way car dealership stands have increased in Abuja in the last three years? In fact over a thousand if not more within the city since Tinubu became president and Wike became minister. The whole of Gwarimpa for instance is turning to car stand. People can't feed but car stands are springing up in every corner. Who are those buying the cars? Don't be deceived, they are all 'Special Purpose Vehicles' (SPV's). That should tell you the level of money laundering going on in this country right now. It should tell you the level of the monumental corruption under Tinubu and his gang.

Gobir family is not Yoruba-speaking; they all speak the Hausa language. Why do you want to Yorubanize a family that has preserved its language for over 200 years? When you want to mention Yorubanized Hausa families, the likes of Onikijipa fall under that category—not Gobir.
Bọrọkini Rogers 🇳🇬@Femi_OfMainland

lol. The Gobir family is a Yoruba speaking family with northern ancestry. It’s not a good use case for this your agenda.

This assertions is incorrect. Jebba existed before the railway. I don't think you even understand these historical issues. So if Bode Saadu residents welcome Alaafin, what will the Daudu do? So, Ota that was won by Owus lately in 19th century will want to do something, Olowu of Owu or Alake of Egbaland will now say NO? You better stop this hubris

This is hilarious. When did Jebba and Shao become Ilorin Emirate communities? And it's funny, this is being raised now. For years, the Oba of Jebba has complained bitterly about his salaries being unpaid and the several indignities he has had to endure. There was a time he was charged to court, until the High Court acquitted him. People talk today about hubris of recreating 21st century Empire when referring to the Seyi Makinde's Alaafin. That hubris is what the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association is expressing here. Jebba and Shao, under Ilorin Emirate! Why not Ogbomosho, Ede, Ilaro under Oyo Empire? Go out and touch grass. And if you are politically smart at all, better push the Kwara State Government to pay the Oba of Jebba his emoluments and seek mutual tolerance and respect. Any smart opposing group would actually seek out these Obas and start paying them their emoluments and appertunances.

IEYDA Raises Concerns Over Alaafin’s Visit to Ilorin Emirate Communities, Urges Respect for Traditional Protocols The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) has expressed concern over the recent visit of the Alaafin of Oyo to communities within the Ilorin Emirate, describing it as a breach of established traditional protocols. In a statement jointly signed by its National President, Alhaji Mohammed Uthman Jagunmo, and National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdulfatahi Oloyin and made available to Just Event Online TV, the association alleged that the visit to Shao and Jebba communities in Moro Local Government Area occurred without prior notification or approval from the Emir of Ilorin. IEYDA described the development as a disregard for the authority and position of the Emir of Ilorin, who also serves as Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Emirs, Obas and Chiefs. The group further characterised the visit as an intrusion into the Emirate’s domain, stressing that established customs require due consultation and adherence to protocol before such engagements can take place. According to the association, it could not recall a similar instance where the Emir of Ilorin or any other traditional ruler visited territories under the Alaafin without proper notification, warning that such actions could generate unnecessary tension, particularly in communities with sensitive traditional structures. The association, however, called for calm and urged relevant authorities, including the Kwara State Government led by Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Oyo State Government under Seyi Makinde, and security agencies to intervene and prevent any escalation. IEYDA emphasized the need for mutual respect among traditional institutions, noting that Kwara State and the Ilorin Emirate are historically known for peaceful coexistence. While advocating dialogue and understanding, the group urged the Alaafin to exercise caution in future engagements to avoid actions that could strain inter-community relations. The association reaffirmed its commitment to peace, unity, and stability, adding that it has continued to counsel restraint among youths in the Emirate despite growing concerns. IEYDA called on all stakeholders to act responsibly in the interest of maintaining harmony and preventing avoidable disputes.

DISTRESS CALL FOR PUBLIC HELP After 8 Days of my youngest sister being in the custody of kidnappers in Kogi State, Nigeria with Nigeria Police Force @PoliceNG @TunjiDisu1 @aleeygiwa and other security agencies @OfficialDSSNG @HQNigerianArmy @NigAirForce @NuhuRibadu showing little or no interests in rescuing her, my family is seeking for help from the public to raise the ransom. The kidnappers have been consistently calling me and other victims' families (I communicate with three other victims' families privately) to do the needful, or they will k!ll my sister. I cried and pleaded with the kidnappers for mercy. That my sister has been denied by her employer that they should not be expecting that money will come from her employer, my dad has been receiving treatments since the sad news was broken to him, and other sympathetic conditions that I will not want to make public. They have reduced the ransom from ₦100 million naira to ₦40 million naira (Forty Million Naira). This is where we are. Please help us to save the life of my sister. All the kidnappers say each time they call is "bring the money or we k!ll your sister." No parents will hear this and wait helplessly for the help that is not coming from the Nigerian government and her security agencies. Please, no contribution is too small. Help us to save her life. Today makes it 8 days already in kidnappers den. What is actually happening?

TROOPS DISRUPT TERRORISTS’ SUPPLY ROUTE, INTERCEPT COURIERS WITH AMMUNITION IN KOGI STATE Troops of 12 Brigade Nigerian Army, over a span of three months have intensified a series of operations and intelligence driven efforts aimed at cracking down on terrorists and dismantling their logistics supply networks within the operational environment. In one of such operations, troops deployed along Road Jamata–Owara in Lokoja Local Government Area on 29 March 2026, intercepted a suspected terrorist logistics courier riding a motorcycle. Troops further carried out an intensive search on the motorcycle which revealed it had been specially modified with a concealed compartment for the covert conveyance of ammunition, in addition to other items. Preliminary findings further established links between the suspect and known terrorist elements, leading to follow-on operations. Following the arrest of high-profile terrorist ammunition courier, Mathew Elisha (alias Nasara), who had been on security watch lists, troops of the Brigade recorded another operational success by intercepting two suspected terrorists’ logistics couriers and recovering a large cache of ammunition in Kogi State. The operation which was conducted on 20 April 2026, followed credible intelligence on the movement of suspected terrorists’ logistics elements within the Brigade’s Area of Responsibility. Acting swiftly on the report, troops deployed at Response Area Oshokoshoko mounted a snap checkpoint along Road Obajana–Kabba in Lokoja Local Government Area. During the operation, troops intercepted a Toyota bus conveying the suspects en route Obajana from Makurdi. A thorough search of the vehicle led to the arrest of two suspected terrorists’ logistics couriers identified as Mallam Zubairu Abubakar and Adamu Abubakar Abdullahi. Further search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of a sack containing 314 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition suspected to re establish their already dismantled network overtime and three AK-47 rifle magazines concealed behind the driver’s seat. Other items recovered from the suspects include two mobile phones, one driver’s licence, one National Identification Number slip, and an identity card. The suspects and recovered items have been handed over to 12 Military Intelligence Regiment for further investigation and necessary action. This successful interception underscores the vigilance and proactive posture of troops in denying terrorists freedom of movement and disrupting their logistics network within the operational environment. My youngest sister has been kidnapped 💔! She was kidnapped on Monday, 13 April 2026, on her way to Abuja to report for duties from Ogun State. We have not gotten precise information about where the incident happened. She reached us briefly around 12.am Wednesday, 15 April 2026, that she has been kidnapped since on Monday without details of who kidnapped her, why, and where she is before the phone was taken from her. Now, they have been calling me until this moment demanding N100 million naira. Where do I raise 100 million naira? I can't even raise 100 thousand naira. They are calling me with registered numbers. Our preliminary findings have it that this happened in Kabba, Kogi State, Nigeria. I have been to three different police stations. One in Lagos and the two at Mowe and Redeemed Police stations. The police stations have no tracking system and that since there is no information about location, police said they can't work. I called police national PPRO. He said I should go and report it at the nearest police station after I had already reported. While trying to explain further, he ended the call and did not pick up my calls again until now. She remains in the harsh and harrowing den of the kidnappers until now. I do not want to lose my sister. She is a very young girl who is just starting life. Please rescue her alive, safely, and complete. @PoliceNG @HQNigerianArmy @PoliceNG_CRU @TunjiDisu1 @aleeygiwa @CspIniedu @NigAirForce @KogiPoliceNG @OfficialDSSNG @NuhuRibadu @officialABAT @aonanuga1956 @atiku @Brightgoldenboy @PeterObi @NGRPresident @NigeriaGov @BTOofficial @BolajiADC @davido @wizkidayo @DONJAZZY

Under international law, transit through waterways like the Strait of Hormuz must remain open and free of charge. This is what leaders made clear in their call on reopening the Strait today. Any pay-for-passage scheme will set a dangerous precedent for global maritime routes. Iran has to abandon any plan to levy transit fees. Europe will play its part in restoring the free flow of energy and trade, once a ceasefire takes hold. The EU’s Aspides naval mission is already operating in the Red Sea and can be quickly strengthened to protect shipping across the region. This could be the fastest way to provide support.

Good morning, sir/ma From all we are getting, we need to gather ransom and negotiate down the amount the kidnappers are demanding with the kidnappers. They are demanding ₦100 million naira. Please, I beg people of goodwill to help us to raise funds, choose any trusted person or persons to do the negotiation, collect the money, and make the payment on my sister's behalf. Please, Sir Dickson @Wizarab10, and other well wishers should please help us. I will work with the person or persons you choose by providing them with all the necessary information they need. I am not putting out my account details for fund raising nor negotiation. I will work with whoever you choose to do these. All that is important is that my sister should be rescued alive. Almost every other victim is raising ransoms already. We are the only one without a kobo at hand. Please, sir/ma, help us to save the life of my sister.
