CAMST's new amateur radio satellite CAS-11 is already under development and is scheduled to be launched in mid-2025.

For more than 8 years, the XW-2 series satellites have provided uninterrupted services for amateur radio enthusiasts all over the world, provided a space platform for popular science education for thousands of primary to high school students, and promoted amateur radio in space.

CAMSAT XW-2E is expected to re-enter the atmosphere at around 10:00 UTC on March 28, 2024, with the center of the fall roughly located at 36.5°W and 56.4°N. The XW-2F satellite will also fall around April 1. The XW-2E and XW-2F are 1U Cubesats.

The satellite has completed mission on Mar. 15.

The Satellite V/U linear transponder, UHF CW beacon and UHF telemetry transmission will remain operational until the satellite enters the atmosphere and burns up.

CAS-10/HO-119 (XW-4) satellite has decayed to an orbital apogee of 236 km and perigee of 212 km, is at a very low altitude and is expected to enter the atmosphere very soon. Ham who is interested in the photos by this satellite should try to download them as soon as possible.

@Tomek_SP5LOT @scott23192 Taking pictures needs to consume some resources on the satellite, which involves more satellite management issues. We will seek a simple solution to realize this function on the follow-up satellites of CAMSAT.

So, that's helpful to get one entire section from someone's download & combine it with another download missing that section. But, nothing helps lost packets because there's no index counter - just the raw hex bytes

@Tomek_SP5LOT @geekc0der @SatNOGS @du_ba1 @scott23192 @HRPTEgor The packets have a CRC16, so it is unlikely to get wrong packets. Unfortunately, the packets don't have a sequence number, so combining data from multiple receivers will be tricky.
