@gerpagliaroli @Tomek_SP5LOT @ure_n8 @googleearth @EU1SAT @SatNOGS @scott23192 @pe0sat @DL4PD Yes, but the software version of the current satellite can only be sent through the more complicated TT&C system, and will consider adding DTMF commands in the new satellite

@Tomek_SP5LOT @ure_n8 @googleearth @EU1SAT @SatNOGS @du_ba1 @scott23192 @pe0sat @DL4PD Great job Tomasz!
It would be useful if there was a command so that the download can be continued from a particular point or divided into parts.

@du_ba1 @scott23192 @dernasherbrezon @knglaser @Tomek_SP5LOT @geekc0der @SatNOGS @HRPTEgor @ea4gpz That is great news, Alan! I will adapt the decoder at satnogs-decoders asap!

Satellite CAS-5A. jpeg 11,12,13. Due to the structure of the jpeg, it will probably be impossible to receive a perfect photo in its entirety. One wrong byte and all further material is spoiled.

@Tomek_SP5LOT @scott23192 Taking pictures needs to consume some resources on the satellite, which involves more satellite management issues. We will seek a simple solution to realize this function on the follow-up satellites of CAMSAT.

@du_ba1 @scott23192 But a DTMF command to take a new photo would be much appreciated ... 📡🛰️ 😀

CAS-5A image downlink update -- great news & thank you! Question: are new images taken on a schedule, by command, or what? Thanks!

@scott23192 @dernasherbrezon @knglaser @Tomek_SP5LOT @geekc0der @SatNOGS @HRPTEgor @ea4gpz It seems that the download of the image in JPG format is a bit challenging, I will provide a new download format, which contains the sequence number of each frame, which will facilitate the restoration of the image

@dernasherbrezon @scott23192 @knglaser @Tomek_SP5LOT @geekc0der @SatNOGS @HRPTEgor @ea4gpz It may be implemented on the CAMSAT satellite in the future, I will study first.

@dernasherbrezon @knglaser @Tomek_SP5LOT @geekc0der @SatNOGS @du_ba1 @HRPTEgor @ea4gpz They are standard JPG files; all the marker rules apply. So, that's helpful to get one entire section from someone's download & combine it with another download missing that section. But, nothing helps lost packets because there's no index counter - just the raw hex bytes

@Tomek_SP5LOT @geekc0der @SatNOGS @du_ba1 @scott23192 @HRPTEgor The packets have a CRC16, so it is unlikely to get wrong packets. Unfortunately, the packets don't have a sequence number, so combining data from multiple receivers will be tricky.
