And here was the second, and yes, it was increasingly disturbing.
Total and complete blasphemy.

CHURCH FATHER: CHRIST’S LOVE FOR THE JEWS
“The Jews betrayed Me; nevertheless, in My compassionate mercy, I did not abandon them, but loved them. I was delivered over by them to Pilate, and I did not escape from them but prayed on the cross: ‘Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing’ (Luke 23:34).”

"I will not give them peace, O my God, until I see them all dead within me."
— Saint Gemma Galgani
In the spiritual tradition of "Mortification of the Senses," she identified her physical senses and internal inclinations not as gifts, but as impediments to be disciplined through rigorous mortification. She promised God that she would "wage war" on her own human inclinations until they were "dead," leaving only His will alive in her.
Saint Gemma Galgani, pray for us! 🥀

ST. AUGUSTINE: CATHOLICS ARE THE CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM
“For brethren, we certainly have been called the children of Abraham, although we have neither seen the face of Abraham nor derived our lineage from his racial stock.
In what way are we the children of Abraham? Not in the flesh, but in faith; for ‘Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as justice’ (Gen. 15:5; Rom. 4:3). So, if Abraham is righteous because he believed, all subsequent imitators of the faith of Abraham have been made the children of Abraham.
The Jews, although born of his flesh, have lost the sonship; but we, although born of strangers, have acquired by imitation what they have lost by degeneration. Although they descend from the flesh of Abraham, they are far from having Abraham as their father.”
St. Augustine, Sermon 13 (Denis): Christ, the Glory of Martyrs (§3)

ST. AUGUSTINE: THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS THE ONE THRESHING FLOOR OF GOD, BY WHICH GENUINE CHRISTIANS ARE PROVED
St. Augustine’s description of the Church continues to match the same Catholic Church to this very day, describing those who leave as “carnal.”
“This Catholic Church, strongly and widely spread throughout the world, makes use of all who err, to correct them if they are willing to be aroused, and to assist its own progress.
It makes use of the nations as material for its operations, of heretics to try its own doctrine, of schismatics to prove its stability, of the Jews as a foil to its own beauty.
Some it invites, others it excludes, some it leaves behind, others it leads. To all it gives power to participate in the grace of God, whether they are as yet to be formed or reformed, admitted for the first time or gathered in anew.
Its own carnal members, i.e., those whose lives or opinions are carnal, it tolerates as chaff by which the corn is protected on the floor until it is separated from its covering. On this floor everyone voluntarily makes himself either corn or chaff.
Therefore every man’s sin or error is tolerated until he finds an accuser or defends his wicked opinion with pertinacious animosity. Those who are excluded return by way of penitence, or in baleful liberty sink into wickedness as a warning to us to be diligent; or they cause schisms to exercise our patience; or they beget a heresy to try our intelligence or to quicken it.
By such ways carnal Christians leave us, for they could neither be corrected nor endured.
St. Augustine, “Of True Religion” (§10)

Council of Trent, Session XXII
Canon 9. If anyone says that the rite of the Roman Church, according to which a part of the canon and the words of consecration are pronounced in a low tone, is to be condemned; or that the mass ought to be celebrated in the vernacular tongue only; or that water ought not to be mixed with the wine that is to be offered in the chalice because it is contrary to the institution of Christ, let him be anathema.

It’s over.
JD Vance just announced that the Iran-US negotiations are dead.
“They have chosen not to accept our terms.”
Both delegations are going home.
No deal. No nuclear commitment. No Lebanon ceasefire. No Strait reopened.
No frozen assets. No reparations.
21 hours of talks. A war that has killed thousands. A ceasefire that Israel bombed through from day one.
A 30-nation coalition is being assembled. Two Navy destroyers are clearing mines right now.
These next few weeks will be pivotal. Eyes peeled.
