Some guy tipped me ten dollars in quarters, and I’m still trying to figure out what kind of person thinks that’s acceptable. I just finished a DoorDash order, and he casually mentions he forgot to tip in the app—which, fine, not ideal, whatever. Then he dramatically pulls out a literal roll of quarters like he’s handing me the crown jewels. He looks me dead in the eye and says, “Sorry man, I didn’t tip on the app, this is all I’ve got.” Yeah, thanks. I love holding a handful of coins like it’s 1998. I don’t use change. I’m not a parking meter. I’m not walking around with rolls of quarters or dumping them into a Coinstar just to get the money I already earned. I took it because arguing over coins isn’t how I planned to spend my day, but that doesn’t make it okay. Tipping in quarters is peak absurdity. Tip in the app, tip in bills, tip digitally—literally anything that doesn’t involve me schlepping around loose metal. Acting like this is normal? Pure comedy. And yes, no one should ever think a pocketful of coins counts as a tip.

It tells me we are pulling ourselves and three businesses out of Socal and moving to Utah and if you think even if Steve Hilton and Spencer Pratt could save California going up against a monolithic Legislature you are deluded. Umm so they both suck it doesn’t make Ortiz Cal Raliegh who proved he can crush at MLB level. Ortiz and DL Hall have proven the Corbin Burnes trade we got fleeced. Ortiz has been on a below .200 hitting pace for close to two years straight. He is hitting worse with Runners in scoring position than he did last year which was at a .154 rate. If he was only player hitting under .200 on team thats one thing but Rengifo and Hamilton suck just as much. You can’t carry three if not four including mitchell under .200 hitters on a roster that depends on getting the ball in play on a team that has no power and ranks dead last in Homeruns and extra base hits. I’ll tell you what i would happily trade Ortiz in a hot second for Cal Raleigh. Ortiz is god awful.

Yes something every basic private pilot has to learn without the use of ILS and multiple computers that control parts of the need for rudder. I can dump a 65 mooney m20e on a short landing with a crosswind and low visability into Aspen with one eye closed that takes skill. I can balance one skid of a R44 helo 3000 feet up a mountain face and offload without getting anybody killed. Thats skill. Flying a modern computer controlled fly by wire airliner into a crosswind landing with a co pilot…. Meh.

This is outrageous.. Not a single person on my flight is masked up while we’re in the middle of a double pandemic (Covid + Hantavirus). I politely informed the flight attendant that this is a super spreader event. She just shrugged and walked away. I've already filed a formal complaint with the FAA and CDC. This is reckless and cannot stand. Masks save lives, the science is settled on that.
