Came up with a word to describe drivers who - park on pavements or in dangerously - try to block filtering cyclists/motorcyclists. - block emergency vehicles from progressing when on blue lights That word is "nobstacle"

be produced, it's really put me off ever using it again. I've decided to vote with my feet by not posting anything for such a long time, but now I've decided it's enough. I'm going. It was fun at times and some good people on here, but the arseholes seem to be given the 2/3

I've not posted anything on here in a long long time. I guess since Musk took over twitter it's become a raging bin fire. But as he continues to be a shit and let twitter be shit, and now implementing his shitty AI nonsense into it allowing such disgusting images of people to 1/3

@Google why does sheets put dates in mm/dd format, and then when I put in a correct custom DD/mm format it assumes I'm putting it in as mm/dd and then swaps them over to give me an incorrect DD/mm format?

@Leroymansell123 @WMPolice Jail sends the right message though. Obviously the joy riders and drink drivers deserve jail too

@WMPolice Jail seems a bit excessive for an accident. At least they stopped. I’ve seen joy riders and drunk drivers get less.

#OpTriton | This is the horrifying moment a cyclist was sent spinning into the air when she was hit by a driver who pulled out in front of her. The cyclist, 71, suffered a bleed on the brain and broken bones. The driver's now been jailed. Full story 👉ow.ly/n9II50QmjVt

@Sally_writes It's also important to keep the local area free from squirrels, pigeons and magpies if possible

HOWLING at this present from husband. I had no idea what they got up to on walks but apparently every cat sighting from the past year has been catalogued in this book 😂

@fesshole Why not just eat the food instead of throwing it away?

I throw leftover food straight into the toilet and flush it away. Doesn't block the sink or make a mess of/leak in the bin. My wife thinks this is really weird but she's wrong. I will die on this hill

@PompeyCyclist Yeah, at 10 weeks my dog was climbing up the stairs. He couldn't get back down, mostly due to fear, but I doubt a 1 year old human could climb up the stairs.

My mum told me that if you had an innie or outie belly button depended on the type of knot the midwife used to tie the umbilical cord, I believed this until I went to a pre-natal class and blurted it out. I was 37 years old.

@BrownPatch @4ChordsNoNet You're talking shit and should probably quit driving if you think you have the right to endanger others because you can't be arsed to wait for a safe opportunity to make better progress

@dudeoli @4ChordsNoNet It’s a duty. I shouldn’t hold people up by not overtaking and the obstruction in the way should yield due to nose to tail traffic behind getting annoyed and wondering what the fucks going off. Somebody has to give and it isn’t going to be slow person infront. Never is.

Why is it that some people don't want to drive behind a cyclist and must get in front of them? A van driver's impatience ended up with a Notice of Intended Prosecution being sent to his employers and it's most likely that he would have ended up with a £100 fine and three points.

@BrownPatch @4ChordsNoNet You have no such "duty to overtake". It's something you do if a safe opportunity comes up for your own convenience

@4ChordsNoNet Remove the word cyclist. You aren’t special. We have to get infront of other road users because the one infront is slow. If I have traffic building up behind me then I’ve duty to get around the person infront for those behind me.

@DavidZipper @NHTSAgov Self approval is insane. That's how we ended up with the 737 MAX crashes. Your government needs to pull their finger out and start regulating instead of letting these idiots regulate themselves.

To summarize; Yes, you should be mad at Tesla for subjecting everyone to its reckless new vehicle. But save some of your anger for Congress and @NHTSAgov for a car safety system that is failing to protect Americans. slate.com/technology/202…

The Cybertruck's design is reckless. Its weight, acceleration, stainless steel panels, and boxy front could worsen the US road safety crisis. Even so, federal regulators are powerless to halt its launch. That should worry all of us. Me in @Slate 🧵 slate.com/technology/202…

@JosephW64898008 @GMB It's already illegal to park on the pavement here in London. Compliant vehicles aren't necessarily expensive, I paid £2,800 for my compliant Audi. No one has forced anyone to buy an electric vehicle. Insurance is expensive, but drivers keep hitting stuff and that isn't helping.

Good Morning Britain
Drivers in Scotland can now be fined £100 for parking on the pavement. Scotland is the only country in the UK to bring in a ban and from today councils will begin to enforce the rules.
