@ApoStructura No, it’s because their investment boom was much later than the West - and as such uses the most up-to-date building designs and techniques. Once you already build productive infrastructure- you don’t rip it out to make it new. It’s why Japan was futuristic in the 20th century.

China seems to be the only country that realizes we live in the future and we can build incredible infrastructure. The west is somehow stuck with 1950s era infrastructure tech.
