Monthly @NBATopShot drop tomorrow. The debut of the new 5.25% "service fee" for credit card purchases/reservations. The reservation purchase limits have increased for this drop to push people towards having to reserve on credit. The exact strain of slimy behavior one can bet on from the @NBATopShot team. On the drop - it's decent. Probably the best cases to date, very concentrated on the high-end chases (lots of big 1/1's) which matter way more than average contents here. Boom or bust variance. High upside and minimal risk if looking to flip. Boxes have 6 standard packs (vs. 5 previous) along with the usual 2 box toppers. Standard packs aren't anything special but have had a very strong following and high demand in the previous drops, regardless of contents - $40+ is inevitable making boxes and packs very desirable at MSRP.

Raytheon has reached out repeatedly to me with job offers. Here's why I (a gen Z engineer) always say no: 1. Raytheon only offers 15 days off per year 2. Raytheon's health benefits are terrible 3. Raytheon's hiring practices are shady, and their hiring website directs you to talk with a chatbot 4. Raytheon's programs aren't all that much fun 5. I've noticed high turnover among lower level engineers 6. The pay SUCKS. No, prime defense contractor, I'm *not* going to take a 40% hit to my salary and benefits so I can have the pleasure of working for a company where I am just a number. Thanks for the offer though.

@dumbdrunkdad That’s not a true bridge, certainly not bidirectional. Maybe what you described is a cheap ass EVM wrapper. PaniniBC team is all about true innovation and industry first. The cards will truly live on ethereum blockchain from what I gather from various info. Let’s wait and see.

@spinotron Thought about this. The Ethereum NFT is just a wrapped version of the Hyperledger NFT. If Panini were to pull the 🔌 on Hyperledger, this would in theory make those wrapped versions obsolete. No means a blockchain expert, but around long enough to get burned by a bridge
