@HellerSports Badger football. It’s my Alma mater, and what we were expecting vs what we got with the Fickell transition has made one of my favorite things miserable.

@TheRealRedShed I agree that a lot of the outrage today is poorly thought out, but have you ever met a Philly sports fan?

@abnercasanova1 This is the correct take. We could do a hell of a lot worse as a program, but the lack of success in the tourney is not nothing.

It’s now a pattern. I don’t take Gard for granted but I’m not sure what else to say about his March success.

@Michael58988682 @IKE_Badgers That’s a totally fair point. If we could do that with confidence, I think we would. But I do think the athletic department might feel a bit snake bitten by the Fickell debacle. They have taken a BEATING on that. Imagine then firing Gard and going backwards…

@Michael58988682 @IKE_Badgers I think most Badger fans were. I was. But that’s exactly the point. Even when you think you have a home run hire it doesn’t always work out. Football has been PAINFUL. I want better results too, but imagine if both programs are unwatchable…

@dumbmanrunning @IKE_Badgers I admit i was excited with the Fickell hire and it still could work out ,but was just the fact that the university is trying to take next step in football is good thing

@dumbmanrunning @IKE_Badgers If the University is satisfied with just making NCAA tourney and MAYBE winning 1 game then they will retain Gard,if they wanna try take next step he needs to go,similar to the football team ,Paul Chryst had solid record but Fickell hired to try to take next step

@DeepLake123 @dekker But I get it, it does get very old. And honestly, I’m frustrated too. It’s totally fair to be critical of Gard’s record in the tourney. I just think if we’re being honest, I’m not sure how much better we can expect to do.

I guess you could say this loss to High Point is the Low Point of the season.

@DeepLake123 @dekker I will go to my dying days saying we should have beaten Duke. But, Duke got Duke calls, and we got rattled by it. To me, that’s punching WAY above our weight. We can’t bring parity brains to a sport with no parity.

@DeepLake123 @dekker We all want that. But, seriously, people keep judging this program on the Bo Ryan years. Ryan was a COMPLETE outlier for this program. Look back. Hell of a lot further to fall. Again, look at our football program. Pigs get fed, hogs get slaughtered.

@dumbmanrunning @IKE_Badgers LOl Underperforms does not = not happy with it. It also does not mean " I think he should be on the hot seat". It doesn't mean what you think it means. You are still a Gard defender and certainly haven't said anything that proves you aren't happy with Gard.
