How do I teach writing? I don't. I teach drafting. Writing in school should only ever be an opportunity to engage in the feedback-response process. Drafting's about doing. Writing too often becomes about "doning." Never done. Only doing better. Until we run out of time.

It’s official - as of today, all Canada Student Loans and Canada Apprentice Loans are permanently interest-free, including ones being repaid right now.
We know the pandemic has been hard on students, and we'll be there for them for as long as it takes.

In case anyone is wondering how reconciliation is going: an Indigenous woman died in Burnside jail this week from pneumonia at 27 YEARS OLD.
To say we at @EfryMainland_NS are devastated and furious is a gross understatement. We are sending so much love to this woman's family.
