I'm quitting X.
It's been a good run.
There's a lot of transitions happening in my life right now and just showing up to overly consume and post just to post isn't helpful right now.
Life is good - don't get me wrong.
Just need more time to think.
I've made over $5,000 since Jan. 2026 from being online.
$0 from digital products.
I'd like to change that.
So much learning, so little time to process and execute.
AI is evolving way too fast. It's quite dangerous imo, but I'm not afraid of it.
I'll be back when things are figured out.
Keep going with your dreams.
You'll make it.
To future me: build proper notification systems to alert myself when users give feedback.
Last night I found out that a week ago my app actually attracted an organic user!
They subscribed, left feedback/questions about a feature, then cancelled.
Since I caught the feedback so late, I refunded them and wrote in an email to apologise.
244 days ago, I quit my full time job to travel, search for meaning, and take more risks in life. Fast forward to today, I have, among other things:
🐎 Traversed the plains of Mongolia, staying with nomadic families and riding horseback through the taiga.
🍄 Survived a very bad case of food poisoning in Yunnan, China (be careful with the mushroom hotpot)
🏢 Incorporated a company to house my various projects and ideas
🕯️ Built and launched petapetual.com, my first go at an online memorial app (I learned so much about the end-to-end development flow, VPS hosting, etc).
I have absolutely no regrets leaving my old job, and although there's a lot of uncertainty to get through, I wouldn't have it any other way. More exciting things await me in the future and I'm all here for it!
Day 46 of building apps to$1k MRR
First few TT videos only getting ~200 views ://
Gonna keep testing different hooks until something clicks, then scale it
@dusveloper Wow, what an incredible journey! Wishing you continued adventure, growth, and success in everything ahead - keep pushing those boundaries!🤟
Morning!
Today’s plan:
• Ship some LangBot things
• Do some Vietnamese study
• Go for an English Sunday roast (there are some great ones in Bangkok!)
Have a great Sunday!
At the end of every rainbow, there is indeed a treasure; your eyes.
(because rainbows are formed by light hitting droplets of water at a certain angles relative to your eye, meaning they're actually 3d and cone shaped, with the only "end" being the tip, which is inside your eye)
