GCHS Boys Golf Season opener is in the books!⛳️ Varsity placed second at Shadowood today shooting 313, under rainy conditions. Eli Wessel finished third place individually🥉 and Brady Wagner finished fourth. Next up: Conference Championship on Monday @GCI

@Johnubacon What they need to do is add an extra weekend. Have the top 8 teams host. Then the highest winning seed hosts the next weekend with the winners going to the frozen four. Simple fix. Home sites would be packed with a great environment for college hockey.

You can count on the Guerin Catholic Boys Golf Team to come together to serve the community! They met on Saturday morning and assembled 300 trauma kits for the Central Indiana Police Foundation. Amazing work guys!

It absolutely is the best format structure proposal I’ve seen and I said it when it came out. In truth given what happened to the @Big12Conference as competitive a League as it’s ever been only getting 1 team in, plus @TheACC almost got shutout! 2 guaranteed bids for them would at this stage be a bonus! Consider Petitti’s point about 4 teams battling for slots 3&4 in the @bigten and ditto for the @SEC rather than outdated Title games, in other words League Playoff for AQ’s to the @CFBPlayof. Imagine the attention those games would get and those would all be earned bids! Not selections. The less the Committee has to do the better. Petitti’s gotten a lot of negative press this year mostly because he’s not as accessible as many credible writers would like him to be. I get that, but I also know Tony’s a smart guy and has very little ego. He knows our Industry and its television inventory that will take on the burden of bringing more revenue to CFB. We need more like him, and I sincerely hope that his ideas gain more traction after this disastrous process we’ve just witnessed. He, @GregSankey, @brettyormark and Jim Phillips need to start thinking BIG PICTURE rather than just what their constituents need.
