A few observations about having a podcasting husband. - He sometimes doesn’t let me listen to it around him. This is by far the worst part. It was mine before it was his. I listened for YEARS before he joined and this is the patriarchy. - It is the best tool for comforting our very daddy obsessed kids. Until the moment it’s not. Then it becomes extremely disturbing to them and must be turned off right away. - Almost every day someone remarks to me about something he’s said and I feel like an idiot when I haven’t listened to it yet. But see bullet #1. - He’s funny and I’m glad that other people know it. But now we’ve really expanded the universe of people we’re in a parasocial relationship with. - It sometimes takes away from dinner time conversations because I already know what he thinks about something. - I’m very jealous of the group chat and think spouses should be permitted in. And it’s very hard not to text everyone on the podcast about something they’ve said. I try to limit it to 1-2x a quarter.

Uncompensated care also includes those patients that refuse to pay co-pays and deductables under the ACA. There is a lot of that going on.

The "D" in DACA means Deferred. DACA recipients don't have legal status. On top of that, he had a Final Order of Removal. He is deportable by definition. He could and should have applied for a green card during the Obama and Biden Administrations. If he had, odds are it would have been granted and he would have been on a path to citizenship. That's on him. However, a green card may still be a viable option due to his marriage to an American citizen. He has a lawyer working on that through various DHS and DOJ agencies. It still may work out for him.

Yep, he has had a Final Order of Removal since 2005. His status is one of an illegal alien. He can be arrested, detained and removed from this country. The interesting thing is that he could apply for green card with a path to citizenship, not through DACA, but because he is married to a American citizen with children who are American. He apparently didn't apply for that.
