@beffjezos It should be the opposite. Make funding contingent on not getting one shotted. It just reveals what's already there anyways. If you fear getting one shotted you may just not have it.

VC's adding an anti-one-shotting clause to term sheets is insanely based. Investors are betting on your will to power, you shouldn't be risking ego death. No psychedelics until IPO. Too many late stage founders get absolutely cooked by these drugs and lose their drive.

This is a textbook unclenching process. LeAnn Rimes is having her masseter worked on, one of the most densely vascularized areas in a human body* When sufficient safety + presence + pressure are applied to clenched areas, it creates the conditions for a latch to open... which in turn: 1. Allows buffered emotional responses to be completed (demonstrated below) 2. Updates the prediction (prior) being held in place by the smooth muscle latch 3. Is followed by less tension + more interceptive awareness in the area (sometimes there are stories or memories attached but not always) This unclenching process can be done solo, but I almost always recommend working with a skilled guide. Some of the best I know use ketamine assisted bodywork, others FBR breathwork or cranio-sacral. In general Tte modality likely matters less than the experience + attunement of the practitioner, paired with the openness + receptivity of the client. * @johnsonmxe's vasocomputation thesis is that vascular smooth muscle tissue act as a kind of 'computational memory substrate'

We're going to buy a shit ton of Intel chips. CPUs are about to become the next bottleneck in 2026. Agents doing real work need massive CPU compute and there aren't enough CPUs being manufactured for the demand that's coming. So even if they suck relative to AMD or whoever else, we're going to buy gazillion Intel chips anyway. There's no alternative when supply can't meet demand. Their stock will probably recover just from scarcity.

I was talking to one of the top VCs in the world and they thought we sell hardware memory.... for the first 10 minutes i learned about how memory is a a big problem in AI, and how much companies are fighting to get it. many VCs just don't check/care 😭 I'm glad to have some of the best ones, that actually care about what i do.

@martin_casado Ive thought about hard codebase line limits. Basically if the code goes beyond x lines you must refactor. That or linting but seeking something deterministic like lines of code.

I'd love tips on how you all handle code complexity when AI coding the same project for months. I end up spending like 7-80%% of the time just cleaning up and refactoring and deleting things. There has to be a better way.

@ai I always work backward from what NVIDIA plans to ship over the next 5 years to maintain growth. You realize how much we need to scale energy and raw materials to meet the targets.

Google is doubling AI capex to $185B this year. For perspective: that's more than the GDP of Hungary. It's 4x what the entire US spent on the Apollo program (inflation-adjusted). I wrote about this last year: we are not in a hype cycle, we are in a compute shortage. Jensen said every forecast has been too low. Every hyperscaler underbuilt. The infrastructure buildout happening right now is the largest capital deployment in tech history. If you're building AI apps and not thinking about inference costs and availability, you're going to hit a wall.

@martin_casado Yeah there's this sort of soft limit to how much the model can handle and each time we get an upgrade you push the boundary. Very fascinating but hard to commit to building harnesses when you don't know if you'll need it in a few mos.
