@BowTiedYukon Meh. My poppy laid the hammer his whole life. I actually despised drinking for a long time because of it. 20-30 years later we both live a great life. Family is all close, very tight knit, successful. Don’t be ghey. People handle alcohol differently.

Like all men, I’ve had imaginary beef with this one dad at little league for three seasons now. Our kids are on different teams, we’ve never spoken, but he’s your typical washed up baseball dad, wears his oakleys turned around on his head, constantly strutting back and forth anxiously in front of the bleachers (but only when the moms are watching).
Well my wife’s been telling me about this guy who always shows up to burn boot camp (basically a girl power rah rah club with some exercises thrown in) in his big jacked up truck, hops out in his sleeveless shirt so everyone can see his sleeve tats and black aluminum KIA memorial vet bracelet. He’s always the only guy in a sea of like 100 suburban spandex women. Not a horrible approach, except he’s married with multiple kids and his wife does not attend.
My wife has a very sensitive cringe radar and says it’s borderline unbearable when dawg is like grunting doing exercise ball curls around mid-30s moms of 4.
Well last week mid-game she points and says “that’s him!!!” And what do you know, we both have unspoken beef with the same dude.
Don’t ever let them tell you there’s no such thing as soulmates.

I'm going to apologize if my tone sounded negative during the NCAA Championships. The reality is I'm like a kid in a candy store. I think Twitter is a great place for discussion and I try to point out things that I see that maybe the average fan doesn't see or that could potentially improve the sport.
That said there are 99 amazing things about the NCAA Championships or college wrestling for every 1 that is wrong with it. But I just don't have the time or the fingers to write every good thing happening. I've tried to point out some things but mostly I'm just appreciative of these guys for laying it on the line to really entertain us for these three days every year in March. I'm a die-hard wrestling fan and I find it more and more surreal each year that I was one of those guys at one time.
