Anyone want to guess how many patients a resident sees in three weeks? How about a nurse? An anesthesiologist? A surgeon? Do you want to be the patient of a surgeon who is in their “three week post COVID lobotomy” phase? I sure don’t.
based pariah@_Trapitalism

here's a good example of the "disjointing experience" in a tiktok video i just came across. this woman is doing rotations in a hospital & describes feeling a "post covid lobotomy" after every covid infection she has

Much of SARS-CoV-2’s harm is neurological. It hits the part of your brain that enables you to even recognise any kind of impairment you may be suffering from. It’s called anosognosia This can even stop you from recognising physical illness/disability Are you sure you’re “fine”?

Just a note on this. The ukhsa consistently claimed that strep outbreak was due to immunity debt. When the number of child deaths hit *sixty*, they stopped publishing the numbers. They lied, and children died.
revival.care@RevivalCare

Thanks to the indefatigable David Fisman and colleagues, we know that spikes in invasive group A streptococcal disease were “consistent with SARS-CoV-2-associated immune dysregulation”, NOT immunity debt. Covid weakens the immune system. medrxiv.org/content/10.648…

Hey leftists, it’s ok to discuss disagreements about strategy, but if you say people who take COVID precautions: - are too scared to leave the house - demand that everyone to mask 24/7 - are terrified of a just a "cold" You are using far right anti-science talking points.

This alone should be ringing alarm bells. There are people who are working in high stakes professions who are working through cognitive impairments caused by covid. And the current gameplan is for everyone to keep getting reinfected over and over again.

I’m a lecturer whose university was one of the last to go online. I caught Covid just before the first lockdown & now have long Covid. Some of my colleagues & students caught Covid in that early period too. One colleague died, one was hospitalised. A student had liver failure.

It shouldn't surprise anyone that infections can trigger cancers. It also shouldn't be a surprise that repetitive infections with a very contagious airborne virus can trigger high cancer rates in young people. #LongCovid

According to RFK Jr… only the “very sick” children should die of measles. The truth? Healthy kids die of measles. Healthy kids get disabled by measles. Sick kids are not expendable. Disabled kids are not expendable. This is preventable suffering.
Kit Yates@Kit_Yates_Maths

One in five children infected in the recent London measles outbreak were reportedly hospitalised. Don’t believe the anti-vaxxers when they say “it’s a mild disease” or “it’s better to get immunity naturally”. It isn’t.

This isn't patient protection. Real patient protection is a well-fitted N95 respirator and HEPA air filtration in exam rooms. That's the minimum. This procedure mask nonsense is almost purely performative, and frankly, insulting.
