Piece of advice - do not buy anything from @Dell directly. I got a PC which was defective. Its been a month, and they still have not processed exchange. I get email every day saying that it will be fixed in 24 hours. Meanwhile they charged me twice for it already. Unbelievable.

@SBA_Matthias You can do an asset deal and have the seller do a rollover as well. Structurally, part of the consideration from the Buyer to the Seller is equity in the Buyer itself.

SMB Twitter folks: If you want to keep your seller on for more than 12 months, you need to do a stock deal instead of an asset deal Anyone in the ownership group that you want to stay on post-closing needs to retain ownership

@dzmitry9 Chat GPT is your friend - was really helpful helping me diagnose the error by pasting in screenshots and describing what tools I was using.

What does this mean? I recently started using Streak CRM; 5 of my emails bounced w/ the same message within an hour. I checked my email in a few of those "spam detectors" and my email seems healthy (fwiw, I am not sending hundreds of emails or anything like that)

@Eli_Albrecht Ramp is incredible for things like that @tryramp. Each time there is an expense on the card, Ramp will prompt him to text a picture of the receipt + memo. Those can also be uploaded via app or web or even emailed. Great tool

I need some advice. My brother runs an attic insulation/mold business and has a great foreman who has been with him for a year. He is great in all other ways other than, he seems incapable of submitting receipts. My brother has tried everything from incentivizing him, threatening to reduce his bonuses, downloading software on his phone, etc. and nothing has worked. The foreman still consistently fails to submit receipts and the CPA firm is getting frustrated. How would you handle this? Open to any ideas.

@dzmitry9 Yep. The Association for Corporate Growth (or "ACG" to save time) is a good group focused on corporate development, but heavily infiltrated by "helpers" (i.e. lawyers, accountants, financial planners, & consultants).

Anyone familiar with ACG dot ORG? Seems like they have a lot of chapters throughout the country and they do events for dealmakers, investors, etc.

@dzmitry9 it's ok for 1-2 events. they have a good healthcare network, depending on your chapter
