@DanNash688790 @shadooplives This is the kind of scenario where Starlink excels, we have had customers struggling to get any bandwidth from copper lines and being told fibre is not available to them, it is in my opinion the next best option

@mattu64 @shadooplives I live at the end of of a 10 mile wire to the junction box, the last property on the line. Even with fiber they said they would only be able to double my 2.2mbps. over the years we have the following excuses. Squirrels.. rusty wire, broken by tractors you name it.

@TChugster @Starlink Starlink is not meant to be a competitor for fibre,that will always be the cheaper option, it is however a viable option for people in rural areas where broadband suppliers claim fibre cannot be supplied, yet with copper lines being phased out they’re set to lose customers

@shadooplives @DanNash688790 The monthly cost is prohibitive for a lot of people which is somewhat softened by the free equipment offer on currently, but with so many people unable to get fibre in replacement for the copper lines being phased out BT etc will lose a lot of customers

@shadooplives @DanNash688790 As part of our work we install broadband in various forms including 4G and Starlink, we advise customers that fibre is the best option if it’s available, however in rural West Wales that’s not always a possibility and Starlink is the next best option 1/2
