Earlier this week, elementary and secondary students with intellectual and/or neurodevelopmental disabilities participated in HWDSB’s Access Athletics! Taking place during National Accessibility Week, the event is designed to support access to athletics for all students.

I spoke with national union leaders this morning about the Ontario government’s inappropriate preemptive use of the notwithstanding clause, which undermines the fundamental rights and freedoms of workers. Our government stands firmly with our country’s workers.

Staff appreciation lunch @ Beasley yesterday. Decided to share with my staff some foods from Barbados, my home country. Was nervous but so happy with the response. Pp actually had seconds.
