@TheCinesthetic Love how Pash (Affleck) frames himself as being above Oppenheimer, “Like having a child I can see” and then Groves (Damon) tells Robert “He should know YOU!” And then later reassigned Pash. Checking him, and reminding him that he was never above Oppenheimer.

i want advice from people that aren’t afraid to go out by themselves like i want to start going places alone like cafes and bookstores and whatever but anxiety says no. please tell me how you do it if you do

@imnoloon It really starts internally and building strong self-esteem. Set goals: ie where you’re going and why/what you’re doing there. If you don’t have specific goals, you’ll get stuck in your head fueling anxiety. Eventually going out alone becomes a skill.

@NoahRevoy I believe it! It’s all so possible isn’t it? Sometimes I watch people at the gym. You can tell when I guy wants to approach a girl. He’s looking over, inching closer. Maybe he goes in. But, my god, stop crossing your arms man!! Open up to the discomfort.

@eRozet My grandfather was excellent at it. Everywhere he went everyone loved him and wanted to talk to him. Even in his 70's women in their 30's were hitting on him. He was fit and charming.

@NoahRevoy Pulling people into you, now that’s interesting. I started late. So very, very, late. Self fathering. Still difficult. But so worth it. A high worth chasing. No beating around the bush, no small talk. I’m remarkably direct.

As soon as I could walk my father had me approaching women. He said "you have to learn how to talk to strangers confidently." Later I learned how to approach men as well. Now I can approach anyone any time and strike up a conversation easily. I've been practicing pulling people into approaching me, which is the next level.
