The station will remain closed today, and is expected to remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday, 10 March. ⬇️ Although low level services remain closed, train services can pass through the station with passengers able to board and depart at Anderston and Argyle Street stations. ⬆️ High level services in and out of the station remain closed at this time Where able to, partial services will run along some routes, such as Ayrshire/Inverclyde - Paisley Gilmour Street and between Kilmarnock and Barrhead. Under driver only operation they technically don't need a second member of staff on board to operate. With a guard you are guaranteed a second member onboard

This dispute is about safety on our railways; on the East Kilbride and Barrhead lines specifically. I fully support @RMTunion members who are fighting for the safety of the public and railway workers. My constituents in EK and others travelling these routes deserve nothing less.

@freddiecatmum @ScotRail From age 5 to 15. If traveling with an adult you can add on kids for a quid with a valid adult ticket. Kids for a quid are only available to purchase at a ticket office or on board train.

@IdioticUlt1mara @ScotRail What do you expect them to do when the weather (that they can't control btw) has flooded, damaged and washed away parts of the tracks. Then network rail closes the line to fix said problems. Cannae run a train if there's no track for it to go on.

ℹ️ If you have a ticket for travel today on a route that is disrupted due to the severe weather we've seen, this can be used for travel tomorrow.

People were essentially forcefully removed from their homes and livelihood to make way for sheep farming. Destroyed large parts of highland communities
