Tottenham HAVE to request the PGMOL to explain why one of their referees, Peter Bankes, was allowed to go onto a TV show and tell everyone that 2 hands on the back “will always be given as a foul” only for a PGMOL referee to completely disregard that several days later

This comes after a week of PGMOL campaigning that Gabriel decision was correct, and a day after IFAB gave refs and VAR new special powers nobody asked for.
Officiating has never been in a worse state. They’re trying themselves in knots for no reason.

The exact same action for Fulham's goal as Tottenham's second goal against Arsenal. The only difference is that Gabriel theatrically threw himself to the ground and Dragusin did not. No VAR intervention in either decision. The threshold for ruling out goals needs to be very high.
