Our study highlights the utility of using biobank-scale phenotypic and sequencing data to improve our understanding of how APOECh influences the risk of AD, lipid phenotypes, and beyond.

Through our evaluations of clinical diagnosis, self-reported and prescription medications, biomarker measurements, and polygenic risk scores, we found that APOECh carriers have lower levels of apolipoprotein B and have lower polygenic risk score-based AD risk.
