In 1736, the mathematician Leonhard Euler set out to solve a simple puzzle: whether it was possible to cross each of the seven bridges of Königsberg exactly once. After carefully analyzing the problem, he proved that such a path could not exist. In doing so, he introduced a completely new way of thinking about connections and networks, laying the foundation for what is now known as Graph Theory.

They should change the name to "Strait of Schrödinger". It's both open and closed at the same time.

Then vs Now : The ancient city of Olympos (Olympos) is located within the Beydağları-Olympos National Park (officially known as Beydağları Coastal National Park or Olympos Beydağları National Park) in the Kumluca district of Antalya, Türkiye 🇹🇷. The ruins are spread across both banks of a stream between Çıralı and Olympos beach. It is considered the second most important port city after Phaselis. Although its exact date is unknown, it is estimated to have been founded during Hellenistic period (3rd-2nd Century BC). Its name appears on coins of the Lycian League minted in 167-168 BC, and it was one of the six important cities with three voting rights in the League (representing eastern Lycia). In 1st Century BC, it became a base for pirates. The pirate leader Zeniketes used it as a fortress and instilled fear in the Mediterranean. This situation... This continued until 78 AD, when the city was cleared of pirates by the Roman commander Servilius Vatia (Isauricus). A period of great glory began with the definitive Roman rule in 43 AD. Structures such as theaters, baths, and temples were built, and the city was visited by emperors like Hadrian. It became a bishopric center during the early Christian period (associated with important figures such as Saint Methodius). Most of the remains belong to the Hellenistic and Roman periods. © Köksal Bey #archaeohistories
