My dad got me off the streets on July 21, 2024. I walked into detox at just 49kg (108 lbs) nothing but skin and bones. Almost two years later, I’ve gained nearly 40kg (88 lbs). It might be a little much… but it’s a whole lot better than where I came from.
For more than half my life, I hated myself. I hated my life. I wished I could be someone else. I couldn’t understand how other people actually loved being alive while I was just trying to survive.
But today… I’m happy. I’m at peace. I love myself.. not in a selfish way, but in a healthy, real way. And for the first time, I truly love life. Sobriety gave me everything I was searching for in the wrong places. I used to numb my feelings just to get through the day. Now I feel everything.. the highs and the lows, and that’s where real growth happens. That’s where real change begins.
If I can come back from that place… so can you.

President Biden created the CHNV migrant flights mass parole program which allowed 30,000 migrants to fly into the U.S. every month (not on taxpayer dime) for 2 year humanitarian parole grants, totaling over 500,000 migrants. But they never left, and the DHS Inspector General found the Biden admin wasn’t even tracking their parole expiration & certainly wasn’t enforcing it. There was also no vetting of their sponsors and widespread fraud was found in the program, leading the Biden admin to temporarily pause it.
One Haitian man who flew into JFK airport as part of the program was supposed to be with his listed sponsor in New Jersey, but he ended up in a migrant hotel outside of Boston where he was convicted of raping a young girl in the hotel.
This program didn’t exist before Biden, so yes, Biden quite literally allowed more than half a million migrants to circumvent the border and fly into the US outside of the normal visa or legal immigration process, and the large majority of them are still here well past the expiration of their 2 year parole grants.

I still see people claiming that Biden flew migrants into the United States. That did NOT happen. No such program existed. The closest thing was the parole programs which allowed some Ukrainians, Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans to come here legally for two years.

Spencer Pratt's campaign has crystallized a political trend that started in the Trump years.
The key battle, especially in local and state elections, is not actually political. It is not ideological, at all.
It is a battle between normal people vs the insane, the fanatical, the willfully blind.
It is a battle between the people who pay and pay and pay for everything, can't afford a vacation, and yet watch all their money pissed away on billion-dollar frauds, grift, and corrupt local officials and their NGOs and fake nonprofits.
It is about people who want to improve life vs people who don't even care about their own lives.
It is American citizens vs new arrivals who hate and resent them and are constantly trying to scam them and replace them.
It is between the victims of criminals and junkies everywhere vs the criminals and the junkies and their protectors and patrons in government.
It is about families who want to feel safe again.
It is not red vs blue. It's about SURVIVAL, literally.

I talk to people on Wall Street every day. I have heard some belly aching about the President from time to time, but I have literally not once heard a single person say they regret voting for Trump or, "gee, if only Kamala had won, we would be so much better off." Bloomberg News laments any of the advances our country is making for fear that they might reflect well on the @POTUS and all their news is reported through a lens of severe TDS.

This is shocking: the House Rules Committee just blocked a vote on stripping the Save Our Bacon Act from the farm bill. The SOB Act, buried deep in the farm bill, would wipe out state bans on pork from crated pigs, condemning millions to a lifetime in gestation crates. We were getting very close to having the votes to pass Rep. Luna’s bipartisan amendment to strip the SOB Act from the bill on the floor of the House. Then pork industry lobbyists got to work. Behind closed doors, they got Rules Committee leadership to stop a vote entirely and protect the SOB Act from the scrutiny it can’t survive. The only option now is to kill the whole rotten farm bill. Please call your representatives at (202) 225-3121 and tell them to vote NO.

When I first began hanging out regularly with conservatives I was confused because the SPLC and their mouthpieces had drilled into me that conservatives are deeply racist as a norm and I kept waiting to hear racist comments and never ever heard them. In fact white conservatives I found were LESS racist than liberals as they did not treat ‘people of color’ as specimens of injustice but as people like themselves.
