My absolute favourite yokai to learn about is the Yuki Onna because every time it’s represented, it’s done really well. My favourite renditions in particular are Blizzaria and Froslass because of how on the nail they are with the representation, blizzaria especially.

@MechaKittn There are also different types of Echoes. Ours just let's us see the past randomly.

Questions about the Echo: I'm assuming it's random given the reaction of our character everytime they get headaches? Does it only activate in the presence of the person we're about to have a flashback about? So if say, Aymeric was like "You should've seen the size of the log I pushed out this morning." We would randomly just... see it? Because if we don't need to be around the person we're looking back in time for, we could theoretically use it to solve crimes.

@feydemon @twitguy28 Doing Eureka and opening treasure coffers from there also grants clear demimateria. You can also send your retainers out on exploration ventures to get allagan pieces to sell.

Starting Tales of Berseria Have never played a Tales game before but I hear a lot of people consider this to be one of the best JRPG's? Thoughts?? I really have no idea what to expect

I feel like dual shield / gun shield is too on the nose for Yoshi-P shirt. Rhitatyn punched with those big ass gunshields, so I'm putting my bet on like a brawler. Another hand to hand job, less martial arts, more just slugging it out with big ass fucking gauntlets.

@envinyon They actually had something like that back in HW. You got pink gear from diadem and it had random stats. People HATED it.

I honestly have a hard time sympathizing with people that want gearing to be better in FFXIV cuz I think it usually involves wanting some diablo style loot with lots of randomized effects and that would turn me off on doing high end content so fast
