Fitts had a very encouraging spring and proved that he is both close and capable. He will have the chance to fine tune in Memphis & I imagine he will get his opportunity with the big league club at some point. #stlcards

According the MiLB transactions, the #Cardinals have optioned Richard Fitts to Class AAA Memphis today. Team has not commented. That settles the five-man rotation.
