@ashiedu_victor @elonmusk The moon reflects the light from the sun. There's really nothing else there to reflect the light back hence everything is black. All the stars in the sky are far away suns. More accurately put, our sun is the closest star to us. Hope this helps.

@ramone_lucky @weplash They said using "the right lens" it picks up color. Basically with the naked-eye, it's gray. So much of space photos are shot using special lens that the human eye is unable to see. That is why the colors are so magnificent. The color spectrum humans can see is limited.

@akafaceUS @Cherub_Rock_23 Think of it as an art show. You go look at the pictures (outfits) on the wall (runway.) It isn't necessarily practical but you can appreciate the workmanship/skill/talent involved and wonder how they made it. And like art, you can love or hate it depending on your taste.
