A bit daunting when I realised quite how many people were in the audience, especially as I was talking about career plans changing due to chronic illness. I wrote it with my past-self in mind, so hopefully it will help some students in a similar position.

Had a great time at a 6th form STEM conference last week talking to students from Folkestone and Dover grammar schools about my career path from A-Level to now!

Furthermore, the prevailing economic instability stemming from the relentless pursuit of unbridled growth in high-income economies has set in motion a vicious cycle of ecological degradation and climate upheaval. As the global economy grapples with stagnation, the urgency to reassess such colossal investments that not only fail to address pressing environmental and social crises but exacerbate them looms large.
