@Acyn As billionaires continue to receive Republican tax cuts, the Treasury's debt grows larger. Consequently, billionaires push for reductions in food programs, healthcare, research, and education. This increase in debt leads to higher interest payments, and the rich get richer.

@Gianl1974 Sotomayor gives us an example of how disconnected the Supreme Court is from working Americans. They are supposed to reflect the values of all Americans and the Constitution. They are supposed to protect the rights of all, including working Americans. The Court has been corrupted.

Speak it loud. WOW🔥: Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor publicly HUMILIATED Brett Kavanaugh in front of an entire university audience — and she didn't hold back for a single second. Sotomayor, who grew up in a Bronx housing project, raised by a single mother after losing her father at age 9, called out Kavanaugh by name at the University of Kansas for having absolutely no clue what it means to live paycheck to paycheck. The issue? Kavanaugh signed off on emergency orders allowing immigration agents to detain workers at bus stops, car washes, and street corners — then had the nerve to write that these detentions are "typically brief" and that most people "promptly go free." Sotomayor wasn't having it. "This is from a man whose parents were professionals. And probably doesn't really know any person who works by the hour," she said. "Those hours that they took you away, nobody's paying that person. And that makes a difference between a meal for him and his kids that night and maybe just cold supper." Read that again. A missing hour of work means a child goes hungry that night. And Brett Kavanaugh — son of a lawyer, son of a judge, product of elite private schools, buddy of the man who appointed him — doesn't understand that. Can't understand that. Because he never had to. This is what happens when you stack the nation's highest court with people who have never stood in a line at a food bank. Who have never skipped a meal so their kid didn't have to. Who have never been snatched off a street corner on the way to a job that feeds their family. Sotomayor earned her seat the hard way. Kavanaugh was handed his amid credible allegations of sexual misconduct that his patron in the White House bulldozed through anyway. One justice knows what poverty looks like. The other can't even imagine it. And yet they have equal votes on the future of millions of working Americans. That's not justice. That's a rigged system wearing robes. LIKE AND SHARE if you stand with Sonia Sotomayor — a woman who never forgot where she came from.

Trump threatened to invade Greenland, ended military support for Ukraine, leaving that burden of European defense against Russia entirely on NATO, and irrationally levied tariffs against our allies (but not on Russia), and then is disappointed when some allies didn't come to our aid in the war in Iran, even though we didn't need them (his words not mine). Illogical. Time for pragmatic leaders in the entire alliance to get back on track. This race to the bottom serves no country's interest.

@TeamTalaricoHQ @jamestalarico Talarico is a perfect candidate for Texas because he's focused on moral clarity, which cuts across political parties. His moral clarity explains why people are flocking to him across party lines. It's refreshing. It's encouraging and feels right. No crazy wars just trust.

Republicans say they’re voting for @JamesTalarico: “He knows what working people want.” “I like him because he’s anti-big money in politics.” “He’s not left and right. He supports everybody.” “He seems to just be a truth teller. And when someone cuts through the noise and speaks truth, to me, it’s very attractive as a candidate.”

BREAKING: The world's largest banks, sovereign governments, and multilateral institutions are quietly abandoning dollar debt and borrowing in Chinese yuan instead. The numbers are too large to ignore. In March 2026, foreign issuance of Panda bonds tripled year on year to 27.8 billion yuan ($4 billion) in a single month. Total yuan denominated financing by foreign borrowers hit a record 218 billion yuan ($31.6 billion) in just the first weeks of 2026. The entire full year of 2025 saw only $167 billion raised through yuan notes and loans combined. Look at who is actually doing this. - Deutsche Bank issued the largest single panda bond by a foreign bank in history, 5.5 billion yuan, oversubscribed 1.55x on the 3-year and 1.63x on the 5-year - The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank issued 3 billion yuan the same month, with 58% of allocation taken by overseas investors - Indonesia sold 9.25 billion yuan at roughly one full percentage point below what it paid on its euro denominated debt issued the same week - Morgan Stanley and Barclays both became repeat yuan bond issuers in 2026 - Hungary issued sovereign panda bonds - The Asian Development Bank raised a record 8.3 billion yuan in March 2025 The reason comes down to one number. China's 10-year government bond yield is 1.82%. The equivalent U.S. Treasury yields 4.46%. That is a spread of 260 basis points, the widest gap since August 2025. Borrowing in yuan is approximately 60% cheaper than borrowing in dollars right now. For governments and institutions that trade heavily with China, that calculation is straightforward. Now look at what is happening to the dollar at the same time. - The DXY fell 9.6% in full year 2025, the worst annual performance since 2017 - In the first half of 2025 alone it fell 10.7%, the worst first half performance in over 50 years - The U.S. dollar's share of global foreign exchange reserves fell to 56.32%, the lowest level since 1995, down from a peak of 72% in 2001 - China's U.S. Treasury holdings fell to $682.6 billion in November 2025, down from a peak of $1.32 trillion in 2013, a 48% decline over 13 years - China has been selling U.S. Treasuries for nine consecutive months as of late 2025 Something more structural is also breaking down inside the Treasury market itself. Research from the National Bureau of Economic Research found that U.S. Treasuries' convenience yield, the premium investors historically paid just to hold the safest asset in the world, has turned negative, currently sitting at -0.25% for 10-year maturities. This premium used to save the U.S. government hundreds of billions in borrowing costs annually. State Street confirmed that since early April 2025, rising Treasury yields now signal fiscal risk, not economic strength. That is the opposite of how a safe haven behaves. During the global bond sell off in March 2026, triggered by geopolitical tensions and surging energy prices, U.S. Treasury yields spiked to 4.4055%, a nearly eight month high. UK, Australian, and New Zealand government bonds all hit multi-year yield highs. China's 10-year yield moved from 1.80% to 1.84%. Chinese bonds were almost stable while everything else sold off. Now look at what just happened today. A ceasefire between the US and Iran has been announced. The Strait of Hormuz is reopening. But Iran is charging every oil tanker that passes through $1 per barrel of cargo, with payments accepted in Bitcoin or Chinese yuan. A Very Large Crude Carrier carrying 2 million barrels pays up to $2 million per transit. Iran's National Security Committee has already passed legislation codifying this fee structure into law. The system is specifically designed to bypass the dollar based financial system and U.S. sanctions. At least two vessels had already paid in yuan before the ceasefire was even announced. The world's most critical energy chokepoint is now priced in yuan and Bitcoin, Not dollars. The trade picture makes the shift more structural than it looks. The yuan now accounts for 34.5% of China's cross-border goods trade settlements, up from just 10% in 2017. China is the dominant trading partner for more than 120 countries. When your largest trading partner settles trade in its own currency, you eventually need to hold that currency as a working reserve and you buy yuan denominated bonds to do it. The offshore dim sum bond market hit a record 870 billion yuan ($123 billion) in full year 2025, its eighth consecutive year of growth. Around 30% of global central banks are expected to increase their RMB holdings over the next decade. UBS Asset Management said the yuan's share of global central bank reserves could rise to 10% over the medium term. It currently sits at 1.93%. For decades, there was no real alternative to the dollar. That is what made it dominant. What is changing now is not that the dollar is broken. It is that the world has stopped assuming it is the only option. Once that assumption breaks, it does not come back.

BREAKING: Trump unveils shocking plan to PUNISH our NATO allies who refused to follow him into his Iran quagmire in childish geopolitical tantrum! The Wall Street Journal broke a scoop today revealing that the White House is actively considering moving American troops out of NATO member nations it believes were “unhelpful” during the Iran conflict and relocating them to countries that showed stronger support for the present military boondoggle. This petty revenge scheme falls short of Trump’s recent wild threats to fully withdraw from NATO (something he can’t legally do without Congress), but it still treats many of our closest allies like disobedient underlings who didn’t clap hard enough for his war. Instead of strengthening alliances or focusing on real national security, Trump is once again playing childish games with real-world consequences by punishing countries that didn’t fully back his illegal, chaotic war while rewarding the most compliant ones. This again Trump’s mafioso “loyalty” creed in action, issuing payback to any and all who didn’t toe his crazy line, and in the process alienating our closest allies, weakening NATO which the United States essentially created, and turning foreign policy into another vehicle to fluff his outlandish ego. Trump treats NATO like a personal loyalty club, forgetting the horrors the Second World War inflicted on the entire continent of Europe were such that forming an organization was critical to it never happening again. We all suffer from the fact that Trump didn’t do the reading during History class, or worse, was too dumb to understand what it meant. If you think that preserving the peace in Europe through a strong NATO is more important than Trump's ego, please like and share.

BREAKING: J.D. Vance is confronted after Trump's Pentagon threatened Pope Leo with the U.S. military during a disastrous meeting — and promptly dissolves into a stuttering mess. This so-called Catholic is sweating bullets now... "X has been abuzz the last couple of days with the Free Press story saying that senior Pentagon officials in January, including Elbridge Colby, brought Cardinal Pierre into the Pentagon," a reporter asked Vance. "Brought who?" Vance asked with a look of slack canine befuddlement on his face. "Cardinal Christophe Pierre, into the Pentagon," the reporter said. "Okay. I haven't seen this story, unfortunately," claimed Vance. "Essentially, the reporting by the Free Press is that they told him that the American military has a lot of might and they can do whatever they want and the church should get on its side," said the reporter. "Does that message sound correct to you? Is that something you would sign off on?" "So one I— I— With no disrespect to the Cardinal, I don't know who Cardinal Christophe Pierre is," said Vance. "He's the Ambassador to the Holy See in the U.S." said the reporter. While Pierre was indeed ambassador when the disastrous Pentagon meeting took place, he has since resigned due to old age and been replaced by Archbishop Gabriele Caccia. "Oh, okay, okay. I do— I've— I've met him before," stuttered Vance. "Sorry, I just didn't remember the name. I've never seen this reporting. I'd like to actually talk to Cardinal Christophe Pierre and frankly to our people to figure out what actually happened. I think it's always a bad idea to offer an opinion on stories that are unconfirmed and uncorroborated, so I'm not going to do that." The report in question revealed that Pierre was summoned to a meeting at the Pentagon during which Under Secretary of War for Policy Elbridge Colby and other Trump officials berated the Vatican's ambassador over Leo's criticisms of Trump's brutish foreign policy. At one point, a Trump official invoked the Avignon Papacy, a period in the 14th century during which the French King used his military to force the pope to live in Avignon, France, exerting direct state control over the papacy. It's considered a dark, humiliating period in Vatican history and it appears that the Trump administration was implying a similiar captivity could happen in 2026. Catholic writer Christopher Hale of the "Letters from Leo" substack has independently confirmed that the meeting took place and stated that "the Vatican was so alarmed by the Pentagon’s tactics that Pope Leo XIV shelved plans to visit the United States later this year." "Many in the Vatican saw the Pentagon’s reference to an Avignon papacy as a threat to use military force against the Holy See," added Hale. The meeting went so poorly that one Vatican official told The Free Press, “The Pope may well never visit the United States under this administration.” If Vance were a genuine Catholic instead of just someone roleplaying as one to cultivate a traditionalist aesthetic, he'd be horrified by this story. This is a man who constantly talks about his adult conversion to Catholicism. He's even publishing a book on that supposed faith journey (which ironically has a Methodist church on the cover). Of course, it's unlikely that Vance believes in God at all. He believes in nothing. He's a nihilistic opportunist who has thrown his lot in with a genocidal fascist in the hopes that he might one day become president. It falls to all of us to ensure that that never happens. Please ❤️ and share if you stand with Pope Leo!

"I'm fine with Bezos and Tesla getting billion-dollar tax breaks as long as I get a tax cut too." Super interesting, because the middle-class taxes will rise by about $900 this year. Meanwhile, your healthcare was cut to give those billionaires tax breaks. We're being played.
