Iran a terrorist regime that jails women for showing their hair, has been handed a role shaping UN policy on women’s rights. Britain went along with it without a word of protest, while the United States stood alone in objecting. Every woman in Iran who has been beaten, jailed or killed for demanding her freedom deserves better from a country that claims to stand for human rights. This is a disgrace, and it speaks volumes that Keir Starmer doesn’t have the backbone to say so. Conservatives will always stand up to oppression across the globe. ENDS
