@EllyEroms @okaydevs of course! you are welcome! I struggled to get my head around some concepts, but it became easier when I understood what each part did. Same with the APIs, if you want to learn WebGPU, be sure to also check that and other similar APIs like Vulkan or Metal.

@okaydevs I need advice. I just learned Three.js and GLSL, and I am still practicing. Is it okay if I transition to WebGPU right now, or should I develop my skills with Three.js and GLSL before moving to WebGPU?

@EllyEroms @okaydevs -Regarding Three.js or WebGPU. Do not worry about it; you can reuse a lot of knowledge between them. Just understand why WebGPU was created. And remember that WebGPU despite its name its not only for the web.

@EllyEroms @okaydevs Hello @EllyEroms! From my point of view: - Shaders are powerful tools to learn. Stick to GLSL as it's the most popular, but other formats like HLSL and SPIR-V exist. Understand the differences between Vertex, Fragment (Pixel), and Compute shaders.

I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute an article to @codrops. Since I first started reading it in 2011, it has been a constant source of learning and inspiration. I truly hope this article can be helpful to others. #threejs #webgl #genart #creativecoding

Generative art meets #threejs 🖼️ @eduardfossas shows how to recreate Lygia Clark's geometric minimalism using grid systems and generative techniques. A must-read for creative coders: tympanus.net/codrops/2025/0…

This is still mind-blowing to me! I read the article by @chriscoyier at @FrontendMasters blog and had no idea you could select previous elements with :has. Inspired by Emil Ruder's Typography book. Using #framer animate() and GT America by @grillitype.

@mtero_t1 @threejs try it! it is awesome! just use animate(mesh.position, {x: 5}) and it works. You can also animate shaders. I highly recommend it.
